Few things to answer some of the comments
Its an engineering prototype. Its not designed to reflect anything finished. The dials were indeed some that Lee had 'laying around'. We aren't fussed about it being 'pretty', we are proving some fundamental engineering points.
It's totally clean sheet design from the bottom up. Whilst the M12/400/14/15/600 experience clearly influenced him, just like anyone's prior work does their current work, it's not 'related' nor 'based on'.
The paint scheme is designed to be like it is. Ragging this around to test it to the limit takes its toll, and its designed to be easy to repaint/repair/not care
Yes, it has been heavily influenced by CAD. Having driven it above 150 it's very stable.
Styling a car like this will always divide people, we accept that.

As a prototype using parts and experience you already have makes total sense, but there was zero info about it to so say what it was or wasn't as far as i could see... styling wise, its different and Ive just noticed the words 'track car' in the title so if thats the case then being different to the norm is a good thing. The styling certainly has potential if its tweaked and refined IMO.
It was at the Kit Car show... was there an indicator as to its marketing in there or was that just to let the Prototype break cover?
Certainly a good thing to have him building his own cars again... now its in the open make sure you get a proper working web site asap, people are going to want to follow progress and look up the facts.
Now get back to work and finish it so we can see the actual finished product

When you say "we" do I take that that you are working together with Lee???
Would be great if you are as Lee has never made a great "frontman".
The second photo of inboard suspension looks great, the cars proportions look good, but not a fan of the batman style front and rear wings.
Lets be honest, anything to shakeup the Porsche/Mclaren hold has got to be a good thing and I admire Lee for having another go!!!!

The pic above is still an Ascari albeit it's a modern day version,
So different car yes but still a progression from the pic above.
In simple terms if was not for that prototype the Ascari above would not exist
The same as if the M10 was not built ,neither would the M600 of been

It was there because SSV was showing the Bug-R which is a kit car (and a hoot, 850kg, 136bhp) and we were asked by the organisers if they could show it and we agreed.andygtt said:

Wrong. It doesn't borrow anything chassis structural wise from anything else. It's a demonstration of some serious engineering techniques and capabilities which build on Lee's consultancy roles, so not directly aimed at end users, although there is an intention to make some available on a strictly limited basis to customers.wessexrfc said:

The syling as I said is not directly dictated by looks, but by some significant engineering principles that are being tested.
Viewings/drives etc. will be after we have finished the prototype to a stage where that makes sense.

Yip, it seems seems so. No denying it ,could well be admitting to it. At least Hi Tech automotive built all the Nobles past ,so should know their game. With the weak currency in South Africa it may be a worthy consideration. I guess we will find out at some point.I'm sure all will be revealed in time
