My entire turbo cost less than 1k outright.... as i say its a low spec item just had a perfect compressor map for the engine, I'm moving to something that can take our exhaust temps.... the benefit of the single is there is a much large choice of ones with the perfect compressor map for our engine, with the twins there is a much smaller choice available, plus you have to work out if you can actually fit them in the space... there are other benefits but Im not trying to convert you lol.

Im going ITB and carbon plenum with DBW, already had it on the dyno and it outperforms the stock manifold above 6500rpm with a small drop between 4500-6500rpm (its better than stock below 4500rpm which was a surprise).... there is no free lunch as they say.

I also developed a big brake kit for the Noble... my car now has 30 pots smile

Yes it's an electric handbrake, removes the shoes, cables and handbrake itself so in all is about 5kgs lighter.

No possibility at all to fit it to a stock disc as they are too small, mine are 360mm on the rear.

I'm been very happy with the Jetstream floating discs and brake upgrade they done for me,
Never had a problem with fade or over heating.

I had the same jetstream discs and the brakes were great... overheated the rears massively though and a kit to upgrade rears to match wasn't available and is what has triggered me to do the entire car.
Sold the Jetstream discs a few months back.

To small . I already run Garrett RS 30s or 32s can't remember and there maxed out at 720bhp. We will modify these, to allow for extra boost as mentioned above. As space is Ltd.
And I like to keep the car looking pretty much original, all the work being done is all Tec and Mech , Engine Brakes, ECU the engine loom is Bespoke made by AER racing used on Audi LMP1 Cars and the likes. It's so very over spec and hi tec this car, But the upside is huge power with bullit proof reliability, and we achieved and proved it can be done running 720 and 600ftlb for 3 years Inc track day's in Spain.
Transmission and drive shaft is really the only week spots I have, But hopefully that has been sorted, thanks to someone else's work and effort. ))

Didn't release you were already running gt30s!!! Are they not laggy as the are pretty big for a 1.5 (as you are running 2)?

I think the new GTX gen 2 stuff should be able to flow 750bhp through one turbo. Are the G series (650s) really too small? 1300bhp worth of air is a lot after all!. Or is it the hot sides that are chocking the engine?

Sorry for the questions, just trying to understand a bit more. smile

Yup there the ones.
Problem I have is size (Don't we all) there is so much Tec in the engine bay there is no room for anything. With the changes We have done,
Thankfully heat issues are a thing of the past,
And that was running in the high temps in Spain.
We will modify and adapt these ones to work with our application,
Regarding lay, No problem with lag at all they spool up at low revs and with the way the engine map has been done, she pulls like Elvis at a barn dance
