255 tyre on 10" wheel

Popped over here from the Aston forums as understand at least the Noble M12 GTO had a 10" rear wheel, maybe others do to?

I was wondering if anyone ran 255 tyres on them?

I know you "can" fit a 255 tyre to a 10" rim but wanted to know if people who actually drive their cars quite hard (assume noble owners tend to) would actually run this size?

Standard is 265 on the rear.
I've not heard of anyone going narrower. Some have gone up to 275.

I know it's really stupid of me but when you said 10" wheel I immediately thought of a mini wheel...

Thanks. 255 feels too risky then in terms of stretch.

I saw this pic and the owner said 255 on his so got my hopes up but think its too much of a risk

Why do you want to run 255s? Are you having clearance issues?
Front or rear and what car?
