M12 to get 3 new variants

Noble Moy Automotive - manufacturers of the M12 GTO - are gearing up for abusy Motor Show with news of 3 new variants of the M12.

Already a huge success, the M12 is to be enhanced with the introduction ofthe M12 GTC convertible, the M12 GTO-3R and the GTO-3T.

The convertible is said to share the same simple but effective lines of theexisting GTO but allowing for roof off action, making those summer blasts allthe more fun.

The M12 GTO-3R will use the new 3.0 litre 340bhp engine with an uprated twinstainless steel exhaust system. An LSD is to be provided as standard along withuprated suspension. Inside full leather will be standard and additional soundproofing will be provided. Outside the new car will be set apart by 3 piecealloy wheels and a twin headlamp system. It will be available from Spring 2003priced at £51,500.

The final variant, the M12 GTO-3T is targeted at those seeking a nocompromise track car. The M12 is already an incredible competent circuit car butthe 3T is for those drivers who are happy to forgo any form of luxury in thepursuit of the perfect track experience. The interior is stripped out andtrimmed with the minumum of lightweight materials and fitted with a plumbed infire extinguisher system and six point harnesses. The bodywork features carbonfibre noes, tail and doors reducing weight still further.


Time to Race?

The 3 litre 24v V6 fitted to the 3T is uprated still further to produce400bhp. Enhancements include forged pistons, steel crank and rods, ball bearingturbos and a dry sump. It's coupled to a six speed straight cut sequential boxand LSD. Huge 12x18 (r) and 11x18 (f) inch wheels will provide the visual drama.

Priced at £65-68,000 the GTO-3T is sure to become a serious contender for GTracing. Available in limited numbers in 2003, we wouldn't be surprised to seethe first customers racing their cars alongside TVRs in the British GTChampionship.

Seems like Lee Noble knows what he's doing. The fact is Noble was limited to producing only a small number of cars otherwise they would run into MVA issues and crash regulations. So in effect his company now produces 4 'different' cars and they can still enjoy the luxury of being considered a low volume car maker. Jolly good!

This will make my new car complete - It is not due untill next August so I will be changing the spec.
The one ( and only one )disapointment moving from the Elise to the M12 was the loss of roof off fun - now it really is my dream car.
I love Lee and want to have his children and with more power to - oh fun.

They have had huge success if you KIV that they are limited by the SVA, therefore they can only manufacture (OK build the rolling chasis in PE and finish the cars in Leics)200 per year for sale in the UK, I am sure that they have the ability to treble the amount of orders.

Do not forget that they have only been 'marketed' and I use that term loosely in the UK with a few high profile trips to Europe covered by the motoring press.

The key to success is keep the volumes small for what will surely become a desirable marque if only for the reputation deserved for the M12/M10's.
