The New Nobles

The new cars break cover today at the motor show but we've managed to secure these preview shots.

Here they are - the new Nobles. The new GTO-3R with the twin headlamps, fancywheels and 3 litre twin turbo engine. The more revolutionary model is the M12GTC convertible. It's not just the roof that has changed there, the frontvalence has also had a makeover to improve the balance of the design. Theroofless car looks great - we suspect the changes to the front of the GTC willbe the subject of some debate however.

I do believe that Noble are taking over from TVR.
The cars look great. The interiors look very neat and purposeful.
Next car, more than likely a Noble instead of the Cerbie I think....

I do like the side profiles of these cars - they look exactly like the cars I used to draw at school

Not sure about the new noses on either car. They have lost some of the purity of the the original.

Just been chatting to the guys at Noble and they've yet to design the roof for the GTC. A 'leave at home' type panel will certainly feature along with a canvas Elise style get you home roof.

mmm...The GTC is STUNNING!

I Love the the slightly more agressive front end, and the open top suits it down to the ground. Very nicely resolved.

Not so sure about the GTO, the front lights look a bit of a mess, but I save judgement for when I see it at the show at the end of the week.

Both have that little bit extra I always felt the M10 needed. Some may say its lost its purity, I say it grown its teeth.

Good work Lads!

I particularly like the hybrid nature of the concept; that is to say, especially in toupee unfriendly form, the Elise-like steering responses (so I've read) and the TVR-baiting acceleration.

My only requirement would be the heretic inclusion of eleccy windows (sorry, a chlidish affection since my earliest recollections of XJ6 rocker switches!).

Other than that, we are looking at something deeply desirable.

Sorry to be the voice of dissent, but aren't low volume cars supposed to get less kitcar-esque as production and development continues ? The GTC's new headlamps give it, to my eyes, a look of permanent suprise. The front of the GTO3R looks much happier - the frenched in lights very Zertec TVR like. Possibly time they lost the Fiesta heater controls too ?

Sits back and awaits flames

Uhh...what else you got? Not very impressed. I definitly would not take it over a Cerbera.

The open topped yellow one looks sweet - but they seem to have forgot one thing.

What about roll over protection ?

Ouch!

Great Cars! I saw Tony Moy and Alan Wallace accepting a few cheques! The stand had plenty of interest and the cars looked stunning. Has Clarkson ordered one?

I was told the GTC is about £48,500 and the delivery, they reckon, could be May/June. I thought it would be more. On both counts.
