Hi all,

I was wondering who else has a 3R on order and if they already have a built number and/or estimated delivery date.

I order mine on the first day of the motorshow and was given an estimated delivery of June 2003. However, I still don't have any built number....

Anybody knows how it works with the built numbers ? When are they attributed, is it when you pay the second deposit ?

Thanks.

Yes - another 3R on order over here. Placed on first Friday of motorshow.

No build number yet, but have done spec and 2nd cheque.

Estimated delivery for spring/summer/autumn in 2003/4.

Give the factory a ring - Lee gave me my build number for the GTC (No. 11) over a week ago, so I would imagine the 3R's are also allocated.

Me too, ordered from my dealer during the show. Only delivery info I've been given is that it will be in the middle of 2003.What's this second wad business? They can't be at all specific about when my car is arriving but still want more cash in advance ?

The payment schedule is on the order form that you must have signed to get on the waiting list!

Have a look - it's down the left hand side under the "Terms and Conditions" section

The dealer fax'd me an order,I signed and returned it but didn't or couldn't read the fuzzy bits. The only small print I tend to read is if it's in VIZ. Anyway the dealer tells me that about 8 weeks before delivery they need another 4k plus VAT which is reasonable.
Colour choice sounds good Billywiz, applying your reasoning to my location in Derbyshire suggests I should be optioning the lambswool interior and matching steering wheel cover.

Not sure if any of you met Alan at the show, but his reaction to me (having spent £50k and looking to spend another £50k with his company) was decidely "off". It wasn't until I met Spencer from Mole on the stand that I was even spoken to! That totally contrasts with the reaction I got from Lee (warm, welcoming, chatty and really interested in me as a customer) even after I sent my "letter from hell" to him over the warranty issue!

Alan going (based on that albeit small meeting) is probably a good move.

Never actually met Alan wallace, but was told this today from H.R.Owen. i met Tony Moy, again totally nice chap, maybe because he was taking me money!. But he had the right sales attitude just as Jason has at H.R.Owen.
Cant wait for the factory visit and maybe even meet lee noble as i have many questions for him.

I presume this is the same Jason that arranged to bring the car to me for a test drive, and then totally forgot about it and went off with his Ferrari customers on a track day, wasting me half a days work for nothing.

He didn't even have the decency to ring me and apologise, so I took my business elsewhere......

I thought Alan was a bit off as well at the motorshow, where as Mr Moy was far friendlier - maybe Alan knew he was going?

I have put some pics of various colours onto m12gto.co.uk if anyone needs help speccing their car, if anyone has any pics of colours I haven't got then mail me at webmaster@[no-spam]m12gto.co.uk (obviously removing the [no-spam] bit

Oppss - sorry - forgot I had some up already

www.lotus-elise.org.uk/Canary%20Wharf%20Motor%20Expo/

The Noble is portifino blue - but inside so bear that in mind.

Personally I think it's a lovely colour, and am toying with having the GTC done in it.
