How are they surviving at the moment?
Their only income must come from parts/servicing for existing owners, which also happens to be their biggest free advertising as well, you would think that they would try to keep this forum up to date on what is happening. I think that they should invest in a new PR person, because the one they have at the moment is keeping a very low profile, don`t you think?

It seems on the surface like a company who is delayed for undefined reasons and needed to secure extra funding to plough into their new project because it's costing much more to develop than they had expected.
I have not kept close to Noble so have probably missed whole chunks of stuff but I thought the M15 was a car you could buy and the M12 was still in production. At the moment we seem to have nothing more than a company and a development project?

My understanding of the situation (and I'm only an ex-M400 owner so don't quote me) is this.
Noble have secured a new investor and don't need to worry about generating revenues from the M12/M400 anymore and are instead ploughing all their time and effort into developing the new car. The M15 that hit the test track a few months back was a fantastic car but Lee Noble wasn't totally happy with it and wanted to develop it further. With the new investment he now has the chance to do that. I stress, I may be wrong here but this is my take on the situation.
The licencing to the US makes sense I think. 1G have always 'customised' the cars for the US market and this will simply give them further control over the end product. Whatever it's called, everyone will always see their product as a Noble M12 derivitive and, if they make some impressive changes it'll only generate good publicity for the brand. Imagine it... pimp my M400
Now, how about a 5 litre V8 in the back... 
I'm not sure it'll have much impact on the second hand values of the M12/M400 here in the UK. If you think about it, they become rare and are already desirable; Noble provide full servicing and parts supply for the cars... not much to worry about methinks.

I was told that a Mr. Peter Boutwood was put in the post 4-6 months ago now (I seem to recall him commenting here once?). News from a dealer contact back in November said Peter would be reaching out to us with an official Hello and some great news - still waiting - piss poor performance for a PR IMHO! Of course, there may well be more to this than meets the eye.

I also have a 997 GT3 arriving in May - I too was not going to wait for that long...

congratulations on the gt3 in may,just been out for a 25 mile dry
b road blast in mine, all i can say is you are going to love this car!
the sound between 6-8+,000 rpm as it hunkers down and blasts out of corners is hi-fidelity.
nb,
could always keep the 3 for the season, sell it without losing
much if any,and then get the new engined m16 next year?

Rubbish. Porsche make Boxters, Caymans, 997s and Cayennes, while Noble currently make nothing and seem to be losing their customer base with delayed product launches and bad PR.

Except it would be like them making 996's, which they only stopped doing when they made a replacement.
Just seems odd that we now have a car company that you cannot buy a car from, no different to Farboud etc.
Either Hi-Tech Automotive are now building the car for 1g or Noble has passed is agreement onto 1g.
