So it would appear that my M400 may have been the last one new for the UK. Unless of course any of you know better

Indeed. You waited a long time for her too if I recall?

www.arashcars.com - new car and company that Arash has created to make a supercar which many feel is an Enzo rip off. Not sure why he is doing it, but seems as though he is having fun with a few chums.

If he's the same guy tht I read about a few years ago in a magazine (must be judging by what you have written) then the reason he decided to design and make his own car was the result of a supercar salesman pretty much telling him that he couldn't afford to buy one of his cars.

I can't remember the car but it was well over £100k, possibly one of the few £300k supercars.

So he asked his family if he could use some of the equity from the family business and the rest is history.

I'd have had more respect if it was his money but he was doing the equivalent of Jose Mourinho...using somebody elses money and bragging about it to a magazine.

my understanding is all the nobles were mfg. in s.a.. 1g are tight w/the mfg and can getproduct direct, u.s. motors are all differant , no standard to the u.k. motors and updates ect were not up to u.k.specs. (differant product) So start from scratch!

Staffordshire. Was it you who thoughtlessly distracted me from trying to earn a living as you blasted down the Rugeley eastern by-pass then? Sounded superb.

FWIW, I took a de-tour past Noble (being nosy) on the way to taking the Griff to Mallory Park last week, and the only 'interesting' machinery in evidence there were two 996s...

might have been!!

if it was me I can categorically confirm I was not exceeding the speed limit!

do you have any idea of the limit on that lovely bit of straight road ??

bye the way if think we know each other!

don't work too hard

Yak,

That stretch is a 50mph limit, but my travails are regualrly disturbed by all sorts of interesting diversions; pairs of super bikes wheelying past, Gallardos etc. none of which seem to worry about said limit. Plod does, occasionally patrol and has even been known to depoly the odd scamera team.

One of the best noises I've heard has to be the current, V10 engined M5 at full chat. Waiting for an Enzo flypast...

Not sure where you know me from though!

That's less than 10 seconds away by GT3!

It figures now - there's not too many places in sunny Rugeley with enough spare cash sloshing around to run a GT3! Very nice.

Yes, rolling chassis are shipped to the US direct. Wouldnt make sense to send them to the UK and then here. The US motors are all exactly the same. maybe a step up or two from a UK M400 block (but we use same for 3R and M400), with extra oiling ability internally. Bout it. Hardly any nobles have been modified internally, if any at all. A few have bolt ons and some have valvetrain work. If anything, our engines were a bit better. IIRC, the US MFG was supplying engines to Noble?

All of us on this side of the pond are hoping for a positive outcome, and it seems it will be, as we might have a slight say as to how the 3R and M400 get tweeked along the way.
