What is happening at Noble?
Discussion
To be honest, I can't be bothered as this, like the other speculation threads, do actually turn boring for me. With the number of conspiracy theories on here I do sometimes wonder if I've wandered into a UFO forum.
As to responding to Rob, as he can't even write my name correctly, despite having known me for years, I'm unsure if he's being serious or just running some other agenda.

Unless Noble have no idea what engine, interior spec, body styling then commercially they would love to put something out. Why wouldn't you?
Give a single reason why giving the most basic of confirmed details would hurt their effort.
Looking at this both positively and rationally, answers to the question might include (and of course this is much conjecture / hypothesis):Give a single reason why giving the most basic of confirmed details would hurt their effort.
1. Lee N has been "bitten" in the past by public opinion swaying his investors' minds to the extent that the end product is compromised compared to his original aims.
2. If the product "looks finished" and then takes 2 more years to hone to Lee's liking, he may simply end up in a PR crisis of headlines saying "technical problems hold up production". No visible product means no expectations.
3. He may have technical innovations which he does not wish to share with his competitors until the vehicle is ready for sale.
4. He may have styling features which he wishes to be "fresh" at the point of sale - in my eyes the M15 is already starting to look a little dated.
5. He wishes to create a fundamentally better interior than his previous efforts.
If any of these are the case (or indeed he just wants to "get it right" and believes the product will sell itself and never mind the existing owners, press, etc.), my only concern remains the same one articulated elsewhere - that he may have misjudged the public's tolerance to a company periodically "going dark".

Said in the friendliest possible manner; why do you bother reading them, or taking time writing out long replies to them? You know something other people don't, that is obvious. But what people don't know is going to get discussed and have suggestions thrown back and forth as to what might be going on. They're probably all incorrect, but at least it is a proper discussion, before it turns (yet again) into this pointless bickering making Noble owners look like arseholes.Looks like someone is going to have to start another "this forum's getting sh*t, lets have another track day thread" .
I suggest Anglesey
Generally because they start out reasonable. Look at this one, it was going along quite happy until a certain prancing donkey person popped up and had a arrogant slanging match at one of the oldest owners on here.
It then went quiet, and then after skwdenyer posted his indepth research that was going along fine again, post after post, a few from me, a few from others until, surprise suprise, a certain same person popped back up, totally missreads a post and has a pop at me. Even after I've pointed out he's got it totally wrong, he has another go.
See the common theme?

So to sum up if others speculate then cool, if I dare speculate then for some reason it irritates the hell out of you?It then went quiet, and then after skwdenyer posted his indepth research that was going along fine again, post after post, a few from me, a few from others until, surprise suprise, a certain same person popped back up, totally missreads a post and has a pop at me. In terms of me saying I got it wrong all I said was yes I misquoted you in that there is not a 3 years worth of orders. The rest of my postings here are either my speculation or questions to you which frankly you avoid because, one assumes, you actually agree with or don't have answer to.
What is the point of a forum if people can't discuss something that they have an interest in?
The crux of the matter is Noble don't make a car right now and are supposed to be bringing out a new model, whenever. Now if they don't want to give information as to why there is no news or what the delay is; are you surprised that people debate what those reasons could be??
Especially in the light that there has been heated debate in the past which you and the old PR guy Simon Hucknell took part in over the launch of M14 and M15. Neither of which saw the light of day mainly because the company was effectively bankrupt (or do are you going to protest and claim that they weren't bankrupt and suppliers weren't taking them to court, etc, etc, like the last time??).
Your postings have a very common theme which is that you take a very rude and aggressive stance with anyone who dares to make comment upon the situation at Noble. Which turns to flipancy when you're pressed and a pretend boredom at the whole affair.
My friend I suggest your attitude is due to the fact that actually some people are closer to the truth than you are comfortable with...
Now if you want to debate stuff then I'm sure everybody would welcome the debate. If you want to act like a 5 year old, slag everyone off and call them idiots then don't be surprised when people think you're a knob.

In my eyes it just seems a shame that the M12/M400 production ceased. I think the americans are going to turn this into a fantastic package. With a little more thought it could have been a total package, maybe even turned into a more comfortable GT model or a rip snorting fire breather? Just to keep it in the public eye while they were messing about with the new model. I know Lee was bored of the M12 but perhaps he could have done something to keep the flag flying?

LOL. To be honest, like you, the conspiracy theories aren't that interesting. However where you and obviously differ is that you have a bit more knowledge then I. For my part I can only apply some analysis and deductive reasoning, and try to come up with positive (or at least constructive) spins on the facts that we see (or are able to discover). I would hope this would encourage others to use their brains to analyse - rather than simply to emote - but I have to say I long ago stopped getting frustrated at the general lack of analytical thought in the population :-)
Well said. It's a pleasure to discuss with people like you. Just a shame that general lack you refer to seems to be represented on here in spades.joust said:

Just a shame that general lack you refer to seems to be represented on here in spades. The furthest you have got to actually engaging in this debate is saying that its fair enough Noble saying nothing and you're No.1 on the list having waited 3 years and beyond that you'd struggle to understand your mans point.
Other than that you're full of bozo's, piss off, idiots, know nothing, blah, blah.
Analytical thought or not I think one thing we can all agree on is that there is a bigger picture to the "delay" at Noble, and like all things the truth always outs in the end. Perhaps at that time we can reflect.
