Mines Louder than Yours!!!!!

I looked at the MOT regulations when I put straight pipes on my Esprit. As far as I could tell there are only two things it has to comply with :

a) It has to be complete with no major leaks

b) It has to be no louder than would be expected for the type of car

When, pipes are complete and I'd expect a car like a Noble/Lotus etc to be loud. Mine passed with no trouble.

How loud was it when I left your place today? That was a blip up to about 4500rpm.... I couldn't really stand on it.

How loud is loud? I'd say very loud and really nice lift off crackle, sounds really nice. Turbo car is never going to get that loud.

Bet or no bet ... your car looks good and sounds awesome ... I took it down for its M.O.T and there was no way it was gonna fail... dont want to give you a big head but that is one of the nicest cars I have driven for a long time!! And it sounds good, a real head turner!!
