best viewing place as you can see em for miles (through Coram curve) no where else lets you see very much cos it's so flat around there !

I think our boy did good. He was beating himself up a bit over qualifying where he was a bit too nice giving way to everyone and ended up going around by himself – not handy when you are trying to learn a track. But as soon as he got in the race his competitive spirit shone through. Gained a few places within a couple laps and had a dice with one guy swapping backward and forwards. Then his confidence grew and he pulled out a fair gap chasing for his 5th overtake – but alas he only had 4th gear and she was on slicks.

He bought her home, but alas in a bit of a state – gearbox had set to self-destruct. Not his fault as the teeth just looked really worn, but finished his chances of running Sunday were crushed too

I’d call Saturday a result though – clean nose and a signature for the licence….. just hope they can get her back in shape for some more signatures for the licence.

Took a few pics (which will follow). As for me I enjoyed the day hanging around the pits and having a natter – did look good fun……..

We popped up there on Sunday doing a Reccy, as I'm looking to get a race next year myself. Bumped into Ash (two Nobles in one place!) and had a good chat.

Hope you get the car sorted soon Ash, looking forward to next season!

Actualy, I took 5, was onto 6th when the gearbox let go.

I was on her tail and new exactly how I was going to take her

Then crunch.

Still, got her home in 4th gear, without losing a place and gained additional signature.

that's the 2nd gear box problem in two races.......bit of a pattern appearing......obviously need something a little more robust.......

Rob reckons it was on its way out at Silverstone, with hindsight we should have dropped the oil to have a look.

Not true - he had a gearbox..... it just only had one gear - 4th !

I will get a pasenger seat in it then you can laugh.

Straight cut gearbox, AO48s, no weight and will beat almost anything on the twisty bits.
