Guys thanks for your honest and valued opinions on that guy in the Noble I knew my point of view would be supported, some good guys from this country have been lost even as we speak and I find it so surprising that people can't support events which in theory should bring the nation together.

I always knew there would be 1 nobber who would have a the opposite opinion aka waiter!

Last year I was in Asda when the 2 minute silence was held, and the arsehole in charge of the store didnt turn of the escalator so, throughout the 2 mins there was a stupid womens voice saying "Hold on to the rail and stand still." Made me want to go and shout at the manager.

I feel people are getting a bit high and mighty here. You all seem to be of the opinion that failing to observe a two minute silence is a delibrate act of definance ( car owner, supermarket not turning it's stuff off etc ). Time often passes people by, they don't look at their watches, the relevence of the hour may not have even entered their heads ( which is more likely to be the case I say ).

A fair point sir, but it's not surprising that apparent ignorant actions (which may not have been diliberate) have upset people - being an emotive issue.

See my post. This isn't a "modern", nor a "noughty" issue.
