Saw a blue Noble today, about 1230 at Port Solent in Hants, had the reg TVR xxxx , looked very nice! If the missus was not with me would have turned around and asked a few questions about the car, as contemplating getting one end of this year???

Will seriously start looking next year, as have a TVR Cerbera and a Caterham thingy, but thinking of changing them both for one of the following:

1. Noble .
2. Porsche 996 TT (bit common though).
3. Ferrari 355 or 360!

Now at present the Noble is looking good as they are rarer, cheaper to buy and just as quick, if not quicker!

Coming from a Cerbera/Caterham background I would say the Noble provides you with the best mid-point of those two types of cars from your potentials list wink

Lee,

my personal opinion, having had a caterham and a 996, now with a noble, is that you will get far more enjoyment and use from the Noble. The 996 is a great car, but a different beast. personally I never got the buzz from the car i'd dreamed of having (911) since i was a kid. as soon as i drove the noble, heard the turbos dumping air and the sound of the V6 through a tunnel i knew i'd made the right choice in swapping the 996 for the M12. the only downside in comparing the 2 is the lack of luggage space in the noble, so not so good if you want to pop to tescos or do a long driving holiday. that said, some of the guys on this forum have done long drives through europe so i guess it depends if you pack lightly or not !
