Apart from tapping the horn, what button do you press to record (or save) a segment? I've never known! smile

I've set my left scroll button to record if I long press it

It’s all a bit random for me.

I know the scroll wheels do things and can roughly work it all.

Sometimes though I do go to change the speed on cruise control and the radio changes or the podcast stops etc. Trying to explain it to my wife when she’s driving usually results in suboptimal outcomes.

Not sure I want to add a recording device to the mix.

Never mind, my next Tesla likely won’t have stalks either.

I took my wheel covers off assuming it was just aesthetics, but seen some blurb about range, anyone tested with and without and noticed any real world difference?

I drove a test route with and without covers. Minimal difference.

They say they make a difference at motorway speeds, but I have used the car with and without and I can't say I've noticed any difference. I guess traffic and road conditions have more influence: maybe on a long flat, traffic free stretch of motorway there's an advantage, but does such a place actually exist?

I now use the wheel covers in winter and take them off when I put the summer tyres back.

Help me out with mirrors please

I have the auto tilt on which is useful when parking. My issue is that auto tilt with I put the car in park which then does not allow me to see approaching traffic when exiting the car. I swear it never used to do this.

You cannot set the auto tilt individually. It's on for both or off for both.

I swear it was not like this before

Auto-tilt when you put the car in park? I've never stumbled across this feature. I'll give a look later

New colours are likely due to Berlin production for RHD cars.

The tilting mirror, my guess is you have comfort access enabled which has its own profile and which has them set that way, I don’t use it so can’t remember how to set it/enable it etc. but I’d look there. I’ve heard people sometimes create duplicate profiles with just a few differences which you can select, mirror position being one of them, giving you options to relatively quickly toggle between 2 positions

This was it. Thank you. I changed out of the easy access into my own profile and all was restored

I don't quite follow how comfort access remembers all my other settings like seat and standard mirror position but not this. But anyway, all fixed now

The soft reset didn't work fyi

I think you just need to adjust your mirrors when in easy access and remember to save that profile.

Those new colours look great!
Type 3 would look ace in those colours too.
I read that the Berlin plant was the only one able to do the red colour.

I wonder why the Y will be coming out of Berlin in a few months, perhaps to gear up the China plant for the updated Y?

European LHd M3 and Y have be coming out of Berlin for ages haven't they? RHD cars come out of China.

It looks like the new colours for the Y are coming out of Berlin, though RHD. Unless the China plant has a new paint shop!

There's a new RWD LR Model Y that's launched in some LHD markets in Europe.
