Why is the answer to every question 'get an SUV'?

If you want to move people and children around you need a people carrier
Because no one really wants to drive a van with seats smile

If you want to move people and children around you need a people carrier, it's the space inside that counts not the ground clearance. There is simply nothing that works better with baby seats than sliding doors (I might be persuaded on falcon wings though).

And a people carrier with fully removable seats is what you need for moving anything else.
Absolutely!
I had a series of them but swapped to an estate when the last one went to be put down under a scrappage scheme. Hardly a week goes by without something reminding me how useful it was. The older ones were better, imo, because the seats were removable, as you say. They are the most practical family vehicle by a mile but totally unfashionable.

One of the best cars I ever owned was my 2.5T S-Max. It drove pretty well for a bus, scared the st out of people who thought they'd just nip past at traffic lights, sounded great, swallowed enormous quantities of people, luggage, and assorted detritus. It was nicknamed "The Pussy Wagon"

I greatly lament the demise of the sporty MPV. I'd dearly love a Model X, but there's no way I could afford one.

Wasted your money there, you should have just got one of these instead of pretend vansmile

But this is way off topic now, van with seats, SUV, bus, what ever they are all more practical cars than a saloon like the 3.

The Y is best value family wagon Tesla makes, it'll be here next 6-8 month. Tesla will want to tap into RHD sales of P versions once US sales slows.

Just spent an hour showing an old farmer around my 3, no showroom on the south island so tesla asked a favour.

Guy wanted a cheap to run weekend car.

No one ever got rich wasting their money on cars, especially Tesla's. One of the richest guy I know drives around in a 10 year old 3 door Fiesta.

Yeah I get that drives an old hyundai suv, worth at least $200 million.

I don't think he's got a problem buying it but having high running costs for his 'weekend car' isn't a thing.

He seemed to like it anyhow.

Are they going to pay you for this favour? Or still charge you full price on your next service.

I think you find a lot of people on pistonheads happy to show their car to other people interested without needing payment for it.
And what is this "service" you're talking about?

Ironic really, given how often other threads are derailed by Tesla spam! laugh So, err... Tesla Model 3. Is it as good as the Polestar 2?
