I went and had a look at one at the weekend. The Model 3 is tiny!
Couldn't even get into it comfortably. I'm only about 180cm / 6 foot but even with the seat right back and wheel as high up as it would go it was a pain. It's a very low down car and the driving position is recumbent.
What car are you driving currently?Couldn't even get into it comfortably. I'm only about 180cm / 6 foot but even with the seat right back and wheel as high up as it would go it was a pain. It's a very low down car and the driving position is recumbent.

I strongly recommend trying one out before buying. After that experience there is no way I could live with one.
not sure what you where doing but the M3 has more room for the driver than an E class merc or an A6, quite a lot more, im 6' 2" and the size of an elephant and had huge amounts of room and found it very comfortable Couldn't even get into it comfortably. No offense but you must be a very odd shape. I am 5' 11" (which is what 180cm actually is) and found it very spacious. But then I have had a few Elises in my time and found them fine too. It is not a small car let alone a tiny oneCouldn't even get into it comfortably. I'm only about 180cm / 6 foot but even with the seat right back and wheel as high up as it would go it was a pain. kuro68k has generally been talking up the Niro/Kona and talking down the Model 3.
He/she obviously has their own ideas about what's good and bad about a car, but saying the Model 3 is tiny and lacks adjustment in the seating position is just plain rubbish. There's more adjustment in the seating position than my BMW 3-series for a start.

im 6 foot 2 (188cm) and the model 3 is a roomy place to be for me so I am struggling to understand your issue.Couldn't even get into it comfortably. Interesting to see comments in the latest few pages re delivery times as I looked yesterday and specced a base model with an apparent delivery of September, which I was very surprised by, sounds like this is total nonsense?
Cheers
They told me august just before i placed my deposit lol Cheers

I have a 3 on order, white base model no extras. The order agreement shows the price at £40,840.00 I know the grant has to come off that, but it puts it over £40k and into luxury car tax. I thought the price had dropped below this threshold anyone confirm for me?
Price is below £40 before delivery charges... unfortunately delivery charges count towards the luxury tax threshold so it is due even on the base modelmanracer said:
Mine is currently crossing the Atlantic, if evezy pull their finger out I should have it this month
Hope you’re available the day THEY decide they want you to take delivery as they’ve been reallocating them if buyers can’t according to the owners group and you’ll go to the back of the queueHeres Johnny said:

If you're getting it from Evezy then you don't need to worry about that as they'll be the ones collecting it from Tesla, installing their kit etc.
I'd be surprised if you get it before the end of the month but it's possible. They have to get their dashcam fitted, for one (I know it has one but Evezy's is remotely controlled)

Teslas contract says within 7 days But what type of company even threatens to do it in the first place? Are they that arrogant or have no idea about customer service?
