Do the door seal packs actually make a difference?
“Reduce Noise: Enhance the tightness of the door, Sound insulation and noise reduction, optimizing engine compartment cooling airflow, Improve the cooling effect of the air conditioner in the cab, reducing driving wind noise.and provide a quiet driving environment.”Not sure about the ‘engine compartment” reference!
I’ve been flip-flopping between the i-pace and a Model 3 for the last few weeks, having driven both. Looks like I’ll be placing an order for a Model 3 SR+ tomorrow - the Jag is nice but is twice the price and not twice the car unfortunately.
Anyone care to guess when the Model 3 might arrive? Is October ambitious?

Look on leasing.com i-pace prices quite competitive vs M3. Anyone care to guess when the Model 3 might arrive? Is October ambitious?

If they were the same price, ignoring charge networks etc it would be a tricky decision, ipace is 50k more here before you glance at options
Exactly. I am gently mulling a M3 for when I get fed up of the Leaf. So, I'd like to think, I appreciate the potential of any electric car. The people who dismiss one over the other, without taking account of the specific deals, are missing an opportunity. The problem Jaguar have with the I-Pace is that their finance rates (at least in the UK) are awful. I'd happily have one of I could afford it.
Incidentally, the I-Pace achieved the same real world range as the Model 3 Performance in What Car's tests.

Because what cars test is utterly flawed
if that's the one where they drive around and use 1/3rd of the charge then yes its meaningless unscientific headline grabbing nonsense to appeal to the low IQ'dthat's why tests like WLTP are important, they are standardised and repeatable so therefore a good comparison across vehicles
it does not matter if you can or can not achieve those results its a comparable result across different cars
well until some very large organisation writes software that can detect standardised testing and runs a special engine map to ensure favourable results
i like the US system of listing EPA MPGe equivalence for EVs
