Why is the answer to every question 'get an SUV'?

If you want to move people and children around you need a people carrier
Because no one really wants to drive a van with seats smile

One of the best cars I ever owned was my 2.5T S-Max.
Wasted your money there, you should have just got one of these instead of pretend vansmile

But this is way off topic now, van with seats, SUV, bus, what ever they are all more practical cars than a saloon like the 3.

The Y is best value family wagon Tesla makes, it'll be here next 6-8 month. Tesla will want to tap into RHD sales of P versions once US sales slows.

No one ever got rich wasting their money on cars, especially Tesla's. One of the richest guy I know drives around in a 10 year old 3 door Fiesta.

Will do, it's two kids bikes, and two adult ones, with the aluminium Thule carrier so hopefully OK - I think the carrier is about 25kg so have 30 kg of bikes to play with! Worst case, one of the kids bikes can go in the boot :-)
Why are you getting a 25kg bike carrier? I have the two/three bike version of this, been using it every day for the last 5 months, just did 320 miles on the M-ways with it carrying my road bike. On sale they often go for sub £100, cheap, easy to fit, works well and light.

Sorry, this is a Model 3 thread. I hadn't heard or seen anything about Model 3's being sent in kit form. Seems they aren't.
S and X are sent to the EU with the battery unit out of the car and 4 wheels off the cars. The battery unit and wheels are than reattached at Tilburg and this reduces import costs by about 10%.

Tesla can do this because the S/X batteries are designed to be removable, all you have to do is remove some screws. The 3 has a battery that is much harder to remove.
