Tesla Model 3 - Road noise

I had a test drive in a Model 3 a couple of days ago. Road noise and handling were one of my concerns, as I’ve read quite a bit negative about both.

Half my test drive route was the exact same roads I’d arrived using, in my 2019 Mercedes A-Class AMG-line. I found the Tesla quieter (both wind and road noise) and the suspension quieter and better able to handle the local roads. Either my Merc is crap (possible) or the Tesla isn’t too bad at all.

My kids complain to me about the ride comfort of our Model 3, both of them ask me to slow down for urban speed bumps as it jars their bum apparently, and they’re both in Recaro kiddie seats! They never commented once in the previous 5 years of C-Class passengering.
