The typical delta to Europe is 9 months - as they started getting deliveries this quarter we can expect Q3 if history repeats itself.

2 things might change that,

Firstly the Model S and Model X aren't currently selling well. There's already inventory cars in Europe of both models, and thats in the first month of deliveries here, and there are thousands of new inventory in the US and Canada - this is for a car that only makes under 20k a quarter. This may make Tesla bring forward other markets including RHD to take up the excess capacity

The flip side is there is a danger they'll not bother with RHD markets ar all as the volume they'll sell won't justify the investment to make them. I can see them even killing the model if Musk doesn't want to support a halo model in relatively small volume.

Thanks, a little disappointing, I'd be mad if I had a serious order in. Most brands like to have their flagship cars selling even if at low volume to make the brand aspirational, but as we all know Tesla aren't most brands.

An Uncle of mine had a MG EV (can't recall which one) on order since the begining if the year. It's never materialised and he's just had repeated delays, very little communication and no sign that will delivery ever happening.
So he cancelled the order beginning of December and ordered a model X, which he is collecting today.
You sure it's not a Y? I'd be really surprised if it's an X. Please get him to send you pics and post it here, especially the interior.

Agree, I would say it’s an old X or if it’s new it’s a Y.

Yes it is a Y, I know it's a Y and yet somehow I seem to have got all confuzzled between my X's and Y's in replying to a question on here...

More updates to the S and X today. Rear 'T' badge replaced with TESLA lettering, red 'high thermal capacity' brake calipers (Plaid only) and - get this - the choice of a ROUND steering wheel as a no-cost option. driving

Also, China prices announced, deliveries Q2.

Yes, a round wheel! Essential in Europe I personally think.
