I thought I'd share my experience today. We stopped off at the Northampton Supercharger station to grab a quick charge. There was a light gold Model S parked opposite - sign written "Tesla Service" on silver decals (sorry I should snapped some pics).

The gent came over and the convo went like this, "Hello, I noticed that your car has an outstanding service issue on it relating to the boot opening mechanism. I can fix it for you free of charge if you like. It will only take a minute". The guy then took off my boot actuator, changed the defective seal and went before my car finished its 18 minute charge.

Seriously impressed with this. I've owned some great marques over the years but no other car company has ever delivered an unplanned impromptu, free service on a whim before.

I am impressed. I await the normal stream of PH negativity from the non-believers etc wink

That's seriously impressive! Now I know why my mate who has had a Model 3 for the last 3 years can't see beyond another one as a replacement.

Ok. I'll get the ball rolling then biglaugh

- All Tesla's are ugly/bland/boring etc etc
- All Tesla's are poorly built
- Elon Musk is a (insert whatever expletive you like)
- It's not all about straight line speed
- Tesla's have poor handling
- The interiors are bland/boring/black holes etc etc
- That big 'iPad' screen is awful/distracting/terrible to use etc etc

Have I missed anything?

Of course, you know I own a Tesla so none of the above comments are in anyway true biglaughbiglaughbiglaugh

I had to get a Tesla ranger out to my house to come and fit a boot cinch motor, great service, really nice chap. Hope it wasn't the same part you had replaced for free as I had to pay for mine.

I've had rangers out a few times and they've always been great, not a bad word to say about them.
