Lexus IS220d - why no auto box?

The IS is a very pretty car and the interior is more appealing than the 3 series, but until we have the ability to design and build our own cars we are always going to be at the mercy of the manufacturers.

Just have to find the best compromise and luckily you have the choice of two different RWD, diesel, auto estates.
