Never owned one but the 2JZ is not the last word in mpg, a friend had one and got between 20 ~ 30mpg depending on what he was doing. You might get more info if you search for "L/100km" as I think that's what they use in Japan so there may be more info around on it.

This site lists as 11.4 l/100km which is roughly 24mpg here
https://www.auto-data.net/en/toyota-aristo-s16-3.0...

This site only lists it for the 2JZ engine in the Supra and gives the figures between 18 ~ 10 l/100km which is 16 ~ 28mpg.

What is the difference between the Aristo and the Lexus GS300? There are a few examples of GS300s for sale on Autotrader with plenty of stats available. ISTR average MPGs of around low to mid 20s.

the gs300 were not turbocharged, aristo's are, more tunable as same supra engine.

Yeah, not all Aristo's at all

The 3.0V or V300 are the Turbo versions, the rest are not.

I owned a 1999 V300.

Fantastic car.

Fiddled with it a fair bit. went like a bat out of hell.

MPG was OK unless you hammered it.

Upped the boost to 1.5 bar fitted a FMIC,induction kit,Tein coilovers with EDFC.

Guy who bought it fitted it with a manual gearbox :-)

I have a had several, they are OK on fuel will do 30mpg on a long run not being silly but that was rare, the boost is addictive. Did the ring in mine a few times. Hard to find a nice one, lots of barried ones out there. I loved the stealth factor. I'd be tempted with a GS430 V8 as an alternative, lots of them about.

I also had a super rare 1UZ 4.0 V8 & AWD drive Aristo, called a Zi4 we won the local car clubs winter fun rally round cones on the gravelly airfield day in it hehe

from when I bought it with gash wheels soon gone.

It was a lovely thing on air too from the factory & adjustable TEMS, quite a stunning & lovely thing to waft about in. Hilarious when it snowed! There are a few for sale in AUS/NZ never seen another in the UK.
