Mine should be turning up next month, unfortunately, I was hoping for January due to finishing getting a house built.

Anyone want a CP in red?

Nice find

So, regular checks of the propshaft bolts and oil and filter every 3k if you have a lead foot!

I have a CP in red that dealer told me January for. Not heard anything beyond 'Order being processed'... Happy to do you a swap.

I don't think we'll see 6,000 mile oil changes and long life plugs in the UK. Toyota do this with some Lexus models in other markets but not here.

Might be proved wrong, but there's a element of service intervals being more about what the market will stand than what is actually needed. UK market cars with 6 month intervals are a hard sell...

Do we know what the maintenance requirements of that centre clutch are?

Hopefully better thought out than the VAG 4Motion Haldex setup, which needs maintenance every couple of years but is omitted in the service schedule. eek

I may of asked this before, but for those of you with cars inbound how has your dealer confirmed your order?

My understanding is that I've just committed to a refundable pre-order deposit to be changed to an order based on test drive, so hoping there's not a car on it's way yet as may not want the CP after the drive, or may want to change colour etc.

I've paid a deposit

The car has been ordered,

The car is on the boat expected to be registered in a two week window starting the 6th Nov

I've seen the screenshot from COL2 confirming this which also includes the cars VIN, which I've added to MyT which then shows a Black circuit pack car.

Test drive is booked for the 31st

Dealer has said from the outset if I want to cancel for any reason after test driving, I'll get my deposit back, and I assume "my" car will then go into stock and remain unregistered until someone else wants a black Circuit Pack car.

I think if you want to change, you can, you'll just have to wait as it appears that all the cars inbound are either GR Yaris or GR Yaris CP cars. The convenience pack seems to be late addition and therefore no cars are presently inbound.

That is my understanding too, and I have it in writing from my dealership via email, including the validity of the 0% finance quote.

For those who are experiencing issues with the MyT app (at least on Android), Toyota customer support have acknowledged that there is a problem (bug) with the app (see excerpt below from an email response I received after sending a screenshots of my COL2 order and what I see via the app on y phone) - hopefully, it will get resolved before the ship gets to the UK.

"I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with the MyToyota app. We are aware of the issue you're having and have raised this with our Digital team who are working on a fix at the moment. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused."

Pair of GR Yaris running at Goodwood Speedweek this weekend, and taking part in the special rally stages tomorrow. Toyota works drivers there with the cars, so a proper effort being made.

They had a red car running today. Possibly the rally Estonia safety car operated by Toyota motorsport?

Where did you get that from? I'd be keen to see the servicing requirements for the gearbox and diffs.

Was posted on the Australian GR owners FB group stating it was the European service schedule.

An interesting idea, my dealer is going to let me know when the demo is turning up, which shouldn't be long, and we will have a better timeline then. I know they won't want to keep it for a few months so and if we can swap deliveries there is a better chance I can still get to have one.

Watching two of these on the Goodwood Speed Week live stream, and while obviously it's hard to get any real information it certainly looks like they're good fun, and the seem to be able to slide around a bit and over the gravel sections they actually looked reasonably composed with a good amount of suspension travel.

God I want one. Sad times.

So a plug and play module for remap is reporting for the Japanese cars 272ps / 370nm to 316ps / 420nm so an increase of 44ps and 50nm torque.
