My 2005 ep3 Type-R was low 1200kgs but the drivers window would rattle when part open. You can tell where the weight saving came from.My 2005 Impreza was rock solid from inside other than boot lid felt tinny, but this was closer to 1500kg.

Auto-DSG Transmission (kg) 1495
And unladen in the UK doesn't include any fuel, so if the other weights being used for comparision include fuel, then you need to lob on another 50kgs or so on to the weight above.

I think it’s only a bit of fun, just to put it in context of the last lot of rally homologation cars. I commented a couple of months ago that the power and weight of the GR is similar to the 22B STi Impreza, 276 bhp and 1,250 kg (DIN), which was obviously a very rapid car back in 1999.
