I'm going to change the pads and discs on the front of my 2011 Avensis. Does anyone know where I can find the torque setting for the calipers and brackets please?
I've tried the Toyota owners site and the Toyota-tech.eu site and they are both bloody useless.
Many thanks.

You should be able to tell when I bolt is tight or not.

Some items need torquing, most items you can just ‘do up’

So in summary, haven’t a clue what the torque is just tighten them up and if you can’t feel a bolt is tight enough maybe get someone else to do it for you

I did the job this morning. Went with 25ft/lbs for the caliper bolts and 80ft/lbs for the carriers. Seemed to be what was needed. thumbup

I’d have used those values too but Nm not ft/lbs. sounds a bit tight.

The big carrier bolts were very hard to get off, it took a long bar and a lot of pressure. The caliper bolts came undone at 25ft/lbs so that's what I put them back to.
