Toyota GR Yaris - Official! (Vol 2)
Discussion
JU order here (ordered mid April '21), mine went into build at the start of the week, so expecting it to be on a boat in the next 10 days and should be here towards the end of June. Not that I'm checking the app several times a day, looking at boats heading to the Toyota dock and checking port schedules or anything...

Anyone else got a recall letter related to the collision sensor? I got mine although mine is working so can’t see it being to big a deal.
Mine was done yesterday along with the ‘safety check’ - around an hour in total for both so I suspect the recall is a check or recalibration rather than anything being physically swapped. Can anyone help me to log my order details on the MyT App?
I have a KA order reference (placed in June 2021) and I keep seeing people refer to their expected delivery dates by reference to the App. My App will only let me put in a VIN, a number plate or a QR code and I have none of these.
Thanks.

Are you trying to track your build? You can do that through the MyToyota website. I can't remember the MyT app being "live" until the car arrived but I may be wrong.I have a KA order reference (placed in June 2021) and I keep seeing people refer to their expected delivery dates by reference to the App. My App will only let me put in a VIN, a number plate or a QR code and I have none of these.

I tried repeatedly with my dealer and customer services to get it live, in the end I saw someone on the GR forums suggest dropping this mailbox an email with your details and within a day or two it appeared on the app for me.I have a KA order reference (placed in June 2021) and I keep seeing people refer to their expected delivery dates by reference to the App. My App will only let me put in a VIN, a number plate or a QR code and I have none of these.

Just curious...has anyone had a car allocated to them who has been sitting on Toyota's waiting list.
Toyota UK were trying to get cancellations sent back to them to reallocate, I suspect that some have been contacted but the list is in the thousands and nearly a year old so i suspect its a very select few. Would anybody take a nearly new, less than 600 mileage, few month old, £8000.00 cheaper Toyota GR Yaris over this Porsche Cayman S?:

Apart from prices, anybody with the experience of both?

Yes...I've owned a 987.2 Cayman S for ten years, the Yaris is very nice but it isn't a mid engined sports car with a creamy smooth flat six which makes glorious noises and has handling to die for, awesome thing it makes most cars feel like toys.https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202201051...

As an only car or do you have others? How would you use it?https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202201051...

So had an email from WBAC saying a price increase on GRY. Just checked and with 1,000miles added since last valuation I got £2k more than what I was offered in April.
I’m not looking to sell but for those wondering about depreciation my car is coming up to 18 months old with over 13,000 miles on the clock and they’re offering £30,260.
Obviously that’s not the price they will potentially pay but it’s a good guide.
