Does it have isofix in the back or front seats and airbag switch for passenger? Have a 1 year old. Going to test drive one soon, see what its like.

Yes has isofix in the back but you would likely need to load the seat in from the boot, rear access for sorting children is restricted. And yes selectable passenger airbag.

Picked it up this afternoon. Only driven about 15 miles so far. Firstly PH was right, massively overinflated tyres, picked up by the dealership during PDI in fairness to
Them although they were unaware of the issue thinking it was a TPMS fault until I shared your collective wisdom with them.

First thoughts coming from a RRS and before that a Mustang and prior to that 2 other V8’s. Positives: brakes are incredible, point and shoot, love it, sounds surprisingly fruity. Definite head turner. Ride far less ‘crashy’ than I was expecting and great support from the seats. Negatives: can’t see a bloody thing, rear view mirror blocks a good portion of the forward view. Ok, so only the one negative so far. I can tell immediately I’m going to both miss the RRS and fall madly in love with the GRY. I’m not convinced it will be my only car just now but with a new RRS due next year I think we might become a 3 car household in time.

If anyone is interested in the slot for a Pure White Yaris GR convenience and be eligible for 0% finance then please send me a message. Will be the first registered keeper. The timing isn’t right for me.

The car is located in Edinburgh, but is available late this week/early next.
Sorry missed this bit.

Thank you for getting in touch via email to offer me another car (this time circuit pack) however as the timing is not right for you, to pay you £500 seems a bit steep to take your slot you will cancel anyway?

I think £500 is more than fair if it's a circuit pack I'll take it and pay you the £500

Unless he works for the dealer, it’s not his slot to sell.
They are likely to have their own waiting list.

Probably worth noting that as soon as the name/postcode is changed, it will also be a the current list price.

Still saves a year wait, I paid £750 to jump the queue - get someone's slot - I paid the new (post-July 1st) price - £36,400 (inc CP)

£500 is very reasonable - I have been offered significantly more than that for my slot over the past few months - but I want the car so i politely declined

Guess it’s just me then who wouldn’t pay for a slot.

In other news someone’s posted on Facebook service prices are increasing on 1st August but haven’t said to what. Anyone in the know?

I guess its a weird unique situation. Clearly Toyota aren't making anymore; so a choice between £500 for a slot or paying £3,000 overs used? I know i'd rather take from a dealer brand new than off a used dealer who could have done 2-3k miles and done a bit of mileage correction to put it back to delivery? Maybe im just cynical haha

There are plenty of people who will.

Have you tried asking Toyota?

Lol... things have moved on from putting a drill on the back of the odometer in a 1980's Fiesta to reduce the mileage.

Have you not read the Rolls Royce Phantom thread on here then? It’s worse now than the 1980s…

The Toyota app uploads details of every single journey the car makes. I'm not sure how you make that disappear, along with Toyota's data, in order to wipe the vehicle's life out and reduce the mileage.

New service pricing confirmed by Toyota service:
£300 intermediate (was £190)
£450 full (was £340)
£75 safety check (was £50)
As of 1st August.

If you buy a service plan this month they will remain at todays prices.

Ouch.

Jeez, that is some hike, might take advantage of the one I was offered at pickup a couple of weeks back, albeit that was only for two safety checks and the intermediate.
