It's short and relatively fat. Mine has just gone into semi-hibernation and it was just as tight getting into an 80s garage as the R230 Merc that will be subbing for it while the weather is nice. Only a couple of inches, if that, to the door frames either side of the extended mirrors, so closer than you'd like.
On a separate note I have a radar recall. Anyone else had that?
The R230 has, to the mm, the same length wheelbase as the Yaris. On a separate note I have a radar recall. Anyone else had that?

The Yaris is about a half metre shorter than the R230. When parking in an 80s garage the only dimensions that matter are overall width and length.

I'm seeing a few cars that are for sale for about 29K. Is the market starting to re-adjust yet?
The oldest cars are getting on for three years old. I think depreciation has to be expected at some point.loudlashadjuster said:

I'd like a red Circuit Pack but can't stretch to £30k+. There's quite a few on Autotrader that have been up since June. I'm hoping prices start coming down now the initial hype has passed a bit.
I’ve said it for a while now but when Toyota finally officially say production is finished then prices might rise as people realise they can’t get hold of a new one so I think it will be a few years or high mileage older cars that will fall into your price bracket for the foreseeable. ecsrobin said:

For those of us still waiting for cars it feels like production has finished already! I havent called my dealer for a while but rumblings on the GR forum are pushing November delivery dates for KB orders. My KB6 order still hasn't got a confirmed build date.I popped along to a specialist car dealer in Eastleigh to have a look at a white GR they had two other very low mileage examples for sale too, I was surprised when looking at Autotrader that there were over 100 for sale. I'm thinking of getting one but wonder if I should hold out for a while longer to see if the prices may drop. It seems £34-35 K for a low mileage example is the norm. I've made a few offers on others but perhaps I'm offering too low.

There were obviously flippers but a lot of these cars are hobby cars owned by people who really don't need to sell. Factor in the two price rises and the continued hype/praise and there's no pressure to sell cheaply. There's even an expectation in some quarters that prices will rise. I don't pretend to know but my best guess is that prices will stay very high and close to list for the best cars. What sort of offers are you putting in for what level of car - ie, mileage, age, colour, pack, history?

I've mostly offered £1.5K below the asking price as I'd be a cash buyer but as I found when I bought my RCF cash means nothing these days.

I think cash is only attractive to some private sellers nowadays. £1.5K off an asking price of £34K-£35K doesn't sound that unreasonable but if the net receipt is going to be below ££30k I think you'll really struggle with getting a sub 10K miles car.
Yeah, you'd likely be better off offering that price but saying you'll take their finance. The dealer will rub their hands at the thought of the juicy commission and ink the deal, you pay it off within hours of collecting the car, won't cost you a penny.loudlashadjuster said:

I've only looked at circuit spec cars, most I've looked at are well below 10K, can't decide on colour but so far have seen all three colours so would be more interested in what sort of deal I could get.
