Service is due on my GR in the next couple of weeks, it is going to a dealer.

The car has a Milltek exhaust (it was on there when I bought the car privately).

Should I swap the exhaust over back to stock before going to the dealer - not sure how strict Toyota are on mods like this vis-a-vis warranty?

I had a Lexus ISF a few years ago. Bought second hand from main dealer, and already fitted with a modified cat back exhaust. As long as the sensors towards the front are not disturbed they said it wasn't a problem, and so no trouble with the warranty and subsequent renewal.
Perhaps best to ask first though.

Thanks, I’ll give them a bell on the premise that I was thinking of adding an exhaust.

Bit late to this but my Miltek caused a problem when it bumped off a speed bump and then impacted the rear propshaft, which in turn took out a clip on the CV joint. My local Toyota pinned that on it being an aftermarket part and so wouldn't fix it. Except when I checked it seemed they HAD fixed it, but said they wouldn't in the car's papers. Very odd.

Updated a different thread, but I had no issues at all with having the exhaust on the car. In the paperwork they marked as “no modifications”.
