Should I get my little old Yaris repaired?

Hello, I'm new,mi have to surrender my licence and I don't know how long before I will get it back. In the meantime I can't bear to see my car outsi5onnthe parking space and be unable to use it so I will have to sell it.
It's a 2010 Yaris (I know it's not worth much) but it's only done 64,000 miles and have full service history and a new MOT until end February 2025. The chap at garage reckons around £2,500 BUT there is some damage on the nearside passenger which he estimates around £300 - £400 to repair, would it be worth having it done before I sell it or just get whatever I can? It's never let me down and I had alot of work underneath a couple of years ago which came to £1000. I'm an old lady and it's a great little runaround with £30 tax a year so sad to see it go.

First of all sorry your licence is in question with no timescale for return.
I would have thought a well looked after little Yaris would sell very quickly by word of mouth, a more reliable small hatch you would struggle to find.
An ideal car for someone like yourself for general running about, or for some indulgent but sensible parent (not daft enough to waste £20k on something brand new) to get their son/daughter their first car.
I'd put the word about your friends family ex colleagues etc first of all, if the car's really a gem it would be better someone you know gets the benefit rather than some dealer buy it cheap get it repaired in the trade and flog it for top book making a large wedge for his wallet.
Someone in your group will know of a handy one man and his dog bodyshop who'll sort the damage reasonably so i'd be inclined to offer it around as is.
