That might be my solution. Fit a 2.5" downpipe rather than a 3" jobbie. Might provide enough backpressure not to confuse the wastegate.

Would you say the power figs provided would be at the wheels, or fly, they wont give me the same answer twice, if at all...
They are correct with their measurements of transmission loss. You're really only interested in figures at the wheels.
'Corrected' figures at the fly are guesstimates, and usually to flatter the customers ego.
