Looking to get into an A110, likely a pure. Has anyone recently ordered and know the current wait time? I have an M2 Comp at the moment on which the lease does not end until Jan next year, is it too early to order an A110 or is the wait likely to be 6 months anyway?

Ring Ian at Manchester Alpine, very helpful guy.

I understand from the French forum that wait is currently 5 months or so in France, may be different here.

Hi All,

I'm Jason, The Alpine specialist at the Winchester Centre and I have just bit the bullet and brought myself an A110 Légende for daily use. It was about time that one of us specialists put our money where our mouth is. If anyone has any questions please feel free to fire away.

Just booked the A110 in for its second service and asked about some replacement wiper blades. During the last few deluges I've noticed the originals are quite smeary, miss a section on the passenger side and as she's a daily driver it would be good to see when I'm going when dark wet nights arrive. There was a little hesitation from the services desk as to the availability under the current circumstances (completely understandable) but as I was booking well in advance they would order them in. 5 mins later they called back to say they were in stock at Renault so could be ordered in but the cost is £192.60 +VAT, do I want to proceed...? Ah no! Considering I thought the price quoted for the service was a pretty reasonable £328 inc'd VAT (much more palatable than the Porsche pricing structure I've previously been use to) this seems an outrageous sum for some new blades!

Some research is required to see if there is a comparable match, although they will need to have the onboard washer nozzles which will make things more complicated.

Anyone on here replaced their blades? or have any suggestions?

Not had to replace mine but I did a search on the French Alpine forum and the only suggestion, beyond buying the Apline parts, was to remove the blades and replace the rubbers with ones from eBay or the like. Let me know if you want the link.

They are big money as it is only the A110 and a particular Mercedes model that use this system. I guess that's the price we pay for light weight. Have you thought about ceramic coating the car? I had mine done and now I hardly ever have to use the wipers.

Thanks for the link, interesting ready!
Think I’ll look at sourcing some Valeo rubbers and some rainX to minimalist wiper use. Appreciate that a ceramic coat would aid the issue but not exactly the cheapest of options, may as well by the wiper blades and be done. I’ll up date you on my trial! smile

We had a problem with noisy wiper blades, got them replaced under warranty...

An A110 is up there on my 'next car' list. But does anyone know if there's a way of spec'ing the 17 inch wheels with comfort seats? One's an option only on the Pure, the other appears only on the Legende.
There certainly used to be, briefly - my Pure has 17s and heated comfort seats. I actually found the buckets very comfy but wanted heated seats, and I'm generally a fan of smaller wheels - cost, tyre cost, the (probably in my head) better ride, and I like a bit more sidewall on show.

When I registered it (it stayed in storage courtesy of the dealer for several months) they said that while it wasn't possible to configure it the same way on the website, the factory had said that they would allow a dealer to order the combination again. I suspect you'd get Legende seats though, whereas I think mine are a design that was only available on the Pure for that period. It's in storage (still) so I'll have to have a look next time I'm there.

Certainly worth asking - this was at the Winchester dealer, and I think it was in May 2019.
