Us PE owners have our warranty expiring shortly;
Who is :
1.Looking to extend their warranty?
2. Planning on going indy after the warranty expires and
If you are going to go the Indy route will you be getting the final service done at Alpine just in case or moving over shortly.
I have found Manchester to be pretty good, the issue for me is its a day out every time which I could do without and its not even an interesting route.
Anyone know a good Indy in the west Midlands/Shropshire area as I am seriously considering my options.
I live in Wiltshire but work in Bristol so I’ve reverted back to a Bristol based indy I’ve used on & off for the past 10+ years. They are ex-Lotus mechanic’s who came highly recommended when i had my elise & europa and their service & knowledge has always been first rate. Who is :

Based on my recent experience I won’t be bothering Alpine Winchester again, third service has been done and I’ll be making sure i get an early mot incase of any issues i need addressed before the warranty expires. Not sure if Alpine offer an extended warranty option but if its anything like Porsche where you need to pay them to inspect the car before they will even offer you the privilege of paying for an extended warranty, its a resounding no from me. Besides I’m looking forward to adding some Life110 enhancements over the come 12 months

Can I just ask about this? My car has made a high pitched whistle/squeak since I picked it up (used 2018 PE). I assumed it was alternator whistle and was going to book it in, but now think it could be the exhaust. Does the noise rise with engine speed?
Thanks
The noise only happens in sport mode and when decelerating most noticeable when the gearbox downshifts. I would say it sounds more like a beep than a squeak inside the cabin although outside it's quite a lot louder and does sound like a squeak. I've also noticed it only happens once the engine has warmed up. Thanks

Interesting, doesn’t sound similar to what I’m experiencing. Thanks for replying For those that have not not heard it there is quite a lengthy podcast between David Pook and Sam Moors "The Car Chat Podcast", much good talk about suspension tuning generally and the A110 in particular

Thanks for that - very interesting. I was particularly interested in what he had to say about the torque capacity of the gearbox - makes me just a bit temped to upgrade once I'm out of warranty. (Unless the Emira is unbelievably good)Also on you tube

Please could you let me know where the torque point was discussed - I’ve tried jumping through the video Many thanks
In 1983 my first car was a Mini 1000 in Black Tulip and I was so proud. Wider wheels etc etc were added.
Looking forward to the pics FS of your Alpine in black tulip, I bet you cant wait.
As an aside, my daughters boyfriend took me out for a ride in his first supercar on Saturday. An AMG GTS. What a weapon, I have never experienced thrust like that and a proper old school muscle car sound. I loved it.

First post on this Forum... I thought a picture would be in order.
I bought my A110 in 2019, Légende, Abysse Bleu, Serac wheels, sports exhaust, etc...
Changed the springs with these from Life110 + geometry. (see picture)
I'm very happy with the car, i use it a lot as a daily and also for the fun stuff...
I have been looking at the wheels that Life110 sells, the "Atelier Colour System EVO Corse Alpine Cup Wheels".
https://life110.co.uk/collections/alpine-a110-tuni...
Are there people on this forum who also have these, and can compare them to the Serac (or other) OEM wheels? I would stay with the standard tires for now, maybe later change to the A110S tires.
I am told that it would make a difference, because the the Serac wheels are an inch narrower (7 & 8 inch) than these cup wheels. (8 & 9 inch).
They are available in different colours.I want to avoid black and am thinking 'a shade of bronze', but have not decided on colour.
Who helps me out with a few pictures of their cars with these wheels fitted?
Thanks!
