Worth a confirmation that there are no mechanical changes underneath. Same chassis(s) as before, same engine and so on. Basically means all my Life110 kit is applicable just as before, and also quite necessary of course!
! The new changes are pushing me even more towards ordering some Life110 springs and other bits. leglessAlex said:
I wish they had an online parts catalouge like Lotus that allowed you to see exploded drawings of the car.

My order, due for build next week, is a Pure with a few options added. Comparing the new price list of the A110 to the Sept. 2021 version, it looks as though all options and prices have remained unchanged with the only difference being a £900 increase in the base price, but of course you now get a decent infotainment interface! Heyho.
I am 90% sure that you will be able to retrofit the hardware, because if pathetically if you were to roll the car and it is completely destroyed they are not going to tell you that you cannot fit the 2022 entertainment into a 2018 car even though it is exactly the same shape. They are just saying it now to try to get people to order the latest generation, give it six months and the part will be available and someone will be able to provide a service of switching the unit.

I hope so, just called Alpine Boulogne in Paris and they said no to upgrading the infotainment, also no to fit the new aero kit on my ‘21 Pure. FrenchA110 said:

Yep, for example, here is a work-around for BMW:https://bavarian-automotive.co.uk/products/bmw-car...
But I'm still convinced you'll be able to replace the entire OEM stock unit such as this:

Alpine will probably price the hardware extortionately high if and when retrofit becomes available so potential customers will still think twice, if the original entertainment system was to need replacing under warranty for any reason its doubtful you would get the later unit.Iceblue said:

My iPhone 13 Pro Max screen is almost as big as the infotainment one anyway so yeah not worth whatever price it would have been.Coilover said:
‘No’ to ordering a part and fitting it to a car. Seriously? It’s just a part like any other.
Yup felt wrong to hear that too. I wonder if they really understood my question and just told me « no » thinking I wanted to order a Pure with the aero kit fitted at factory and not install one on mine.I’ll call again tomorrow to be sure about that.

I costed my Legendé up on the configurator, some of the options there have changed quite a bit so it came out a few grand more, but of course you get 50hp more. Once you start driving it you quickly forget about these things so who cares! So glad I ordered the Legende GT 2020 model - looking at the price and options list, the 2022 GT model is only very slightly cheaper on the base price but missing a whole bunch of key options which are standard on the Legende GT...
If I feel I am missing power, I just get a Life110 or Litchfield tune-up - both of whom provide a better increase in torque/power balance than that of the factory "S"...
Still leaves the souped up S with 320 bhp to arrive in 2023-2024 as their last Hurrah - as Alpine have always eluded to.
