Thanks... As commented earlier, was due to be March, but now looks like late June.

I see the Life paddles are nearly ready smile

Not had my car long enough to consider geo amends yet, and sadly due to c19 not driven it anywhere near enough but the paddles look great. Tricky to judge the clearances to wheel and volume controls etc from the pics but looks ok. Had some good exp with braided hoses making things feel nice too so this looks a good cheap upgrade.

Anybody else going to try the paddles ?

I will get the paddles also....will be a really nice feature to have and the icing on the cake of an already great car. Our Légende has Life110 springs + alignment, Endless brake pads, steel linings, high temp brake oil and the wider S tyres. Perfect!

I’ll probably get the paddles too - the standard ones are pretty effective but I think it’ll be a useful mod.

I’m also still getting used to the car but keen to try the geometry changes at some point. My only issue with the standard car is it feels a bit nervous and fidgety just holding a straight line at motorway speeds. Hardly a big deal as I mostly avoid motorways and take the scenic route, but I’d be interested to know if the geo changes would improve that. What do you think Franzino?

I'm keen on the LIFE110 Paddles, plus the other upgrades on offer, especially as my warranty runs out in August.

On another note, is anyone else having trouble with their rear boot, initially mine was leaking from the rear screen screw down bolts which I tracked to the thin clear plastic washers lifting. I removed these and have since used some rubber tap washers which cured the problem, however as winter has taken hold my boot carpet & trim panels have become very damp, plus there has been a lot of condensation build up on the inside of the boot lid. I've removed the boot carpet and trim and every morning the boot floor is puddled with water, some days the inside of the boot lid also has condensation build up. There is so much water that a dry microfibre cloth isn't sufficient to wipe it all away without a couple of wring outs... I can't see any obvious areas where water is entering the boot, but the boot does get very hot on my daily commute and with evening temperatures at zero or less when I get home on an evening I can only assume it is condensation build up. Does anyone know if the boot is vented to allow air circulation? I've emailed Alpine Winchester this weekend regarding the problem and await their response.

I believe one of the intakes by the side windows also gives ventilation to the boot in an attempt to keep it cool. I can't remember which side though and am just going from what our dealer told me.

That collecting cars example is at £38,750 with approx 3 hours remaining.

Promise it's nothing to do with me, I just find it an interesting indicator of where the market roughly is. They tend to shoot up over the last few minutes - every time there is a bid the timer adds 2 minutes, so it's a little less frantic than ebay.

There is a revised seal for the rear window - I'd check if you have had it fitted. I've just had mine done - but never had the problem, but I know you are not alone.

The geo does make a difference; also a lot of A110's don't have a 100% perfect alignement form the factory itself (the standard alignment I mean). So it's good to get the alignment done anyway. I did the Life110 street alignment together with the Life110 springs. I'm personally a really a big fan of the upgrade and for my driving taste it's a big plus. I drove the car 5.000km in standard form and 5.000km with the Life 110 suspension mod's (I would not chance the car back to standard and prefer how it is now). But I can certainly understand some people don't want to change the springs on their brand new car. Alignement is also a little bit a personal taste (all my cars had a different alignement at some point). The A110 owners who did the alignment without the springs were also really happy and it does increase stability on higher speeds and improves steering feel.

Cool - that’s good to hear. I’ll start with the geometry changes - including getting them checked... Springs may happen later, especially if I get in the habit of doing a few track days after COVID 19 is under control.

A lovely colour, so I went to check the configurator - £4,440 for Black Tulip or any other personalisation colour!

Sold at that price. Add on the 6% buyers fee and it's just over 41k. Not a great saving on a dealer supplied one really.

Thanks, I doubt mine has the revised seal, I think it been a problem from new as the hand book wallet was in the boot when I bought it last summer and the pages are rather crinkled from being damp at some point. Already had a response from Adam at Winchester apologising for the problem and to say a service engineer will contact me. So fingers crossed I’ll have some good news tomorrow!
