I see from the French configurator that you can now get either the Pure or Legende seats in white as a no cost option. You do lose the diamond quilting on the leather bits, which makes them look a bit plain to my eyes. The white seat belts which come with them may look grubby quite quickly. Still more options can't be bad.

Not on the UK configurator (yet)
BITD a friend had a Scirocco Scala - it had black and white seats- or rather it did for the first five minutes of ownership- I seem to recall jeans would stain the seats and even looking at them the wrong way would stain them.

I like those. Gets rid of most of the blue stitching that I though jarred a bit with the purple paint from the exterior being on the interior too on the doors. Shame it doesnt make the rest of the blue stitching white. White seatbelts though.... Im with you on that one they will take some keeping clean

I point this out to you and then you suggest I should google it. You know, I hadn't thought of that...

Maybe its just me, but those seats look as if they might transform into storm troopers as soon as you get belted in.

I'm 90% sure that's a glitch in the matrix (or at least the slightly wobbly configurator) - they look just like 3D surfaces lacking textures. The top 'harness hole' in the RH seat is silver where the left is white.

Which is actually a shame. I am 100% up for 2021's colour edition to be a tribute to the most outlandish efforts of 1980s tuning houses! Perhaps even a R5 Turbo 1 effect?

Just a heads-up to Alpine owners - check the wiper fitting - the end cap on one of my wipers was loose (I menitioned it at the last service) and it subsequently made a bid for freedom.

I asked for a new end cap under warranty but Alpine will only sell me.....
two new wiper units for £250...as the whole wiper unit is a "wear and tear item" apparently and they are only sold as a pair.

I'm waiting to hear if there is any possibility of customer service assisting but, without any way of contacting them, am reliant on the dealer making my case for me.
Hmm, every manufacturer has to draw the line at what they will and won't replace under warranty, but that sounds particularly mean. It might be as simple as their spare parts 'system' doesn't enable them to order the child parts of the wiper arm assembly - hopefully the dealer can make the case for such parts to be more readily available though. Best of luck.

If not, there's always somebody with a 3D printer. Usually they're making bits for vintage cars though!

I collected my A110 Legende today, long drive back from North London on M25 & M4. Did take it for a quick blast in the Cotswolds when I got back and it is a properly fun machine, just wish the weather could have been better as it is absolutely filthy now.

Congratulations to the new owners clap

Had to do 200 miles in mine today, foul weather and driving conditions, but such a joy to drive. Made the journey bearable. On the down side white is not the best colour for these conditions banghead

Thanks... just been out to check, all seems secure here but I’ll be keeping an eye on ‘em. Read a lot about ££££ A110 wipers smile

Hi All, slightly off topic but what’s the best UK owners club/forum for the A110?

Apart from this thread smile I’m also on www.renaultalpine.co.uk (RAOC) but the best one is the French FAR forum (https://forum.alpinerenault.com/index.php), just use have to use Google translate unless you fluent in French wink

If you use google chrome as your browser (if only for that site) then it will auto translate the FAR site and makes it easy to read. You will still need to use google translate to convert your input from English to French.

A moody image as it’s horrific weather today.

I’ve never been so smitten with a car. And I’ve had many!!

Fitted the Life110 steel brake lines also. Not much use on the street, but our A110 comes at least 5x times a year on track smile
