We’ll let you off
Are you getting to use it much- it was in storage for a while if I recall.
Not nearly as much as I'd like, I've done a couple of essential journeys including around the Hampshire Triangle, but it really doesn't like starting so I can't use it to go anywhere and stop there for fear of being stranded. Are you getting to use it much- it was in storage for a while if I recall.
Back to Martins in Winchester next week for a checkup and (probably) a new battery. Assuming that gives it a sunnier disposition it'll then be the car I use most often, though my annual mileage has dropped from about 14,000 to nearer 1,400...

Just a thought, but with so many (relatively speaking) owners on here would there be any interest in doing a list of owners, versions, colours etc? Not sure how best to do it mind!
Yes, great idea. I think we should also establish a pecking order a la Porsche forums-
PE cars at the top as they are the limited editions
Then Pure cars as they are lightweight
Then the Legende
And finally the S as they are just big fancy-pants show offs with the top model.

Sorry to hear about the issues - I’m sure a new battery / alternator will fix it. One or two had battery problems Back to Martins in Winchester next week for a checkup and (probably) a new battery. Nice to see another Pure with comfort seats!
You two should be ashamed of yourselves!"Oy, Francois"
"Oui"
"You know we went on strike for six weeks to force the company to produce a back-to-basics-true-to-the-ethos-lightweight-stripped-out-coupe"
"Oui"
"Some bugger's just gone and specced one with 24 way adjustable heated seats"
"Mon dieu!"
No offence meant!
Easy life and all that

you’re not wrong mind. I would have liked to have tried both seat options back to back, happy with these and more important so is the wife. The first thing she asked was “does it have bum warmers”.
I vowed many years ago that I would never buy another car that didn't toast my buttocks. I cheated that vow by taking a job with a company car that lacked such. I didn't keep the job long. One cannot work at one's best when one's posterior is frosty.Sporky said:

If you have leather seats then heating is big plus - not such an issue with cloth or alcantara (or an issue at all to me). domrusty said:
You certainly *can* daily it... so it’s a question of how many miles you want to put on it? I’m doing purely pleasure miles right now, working from home so it’s relatively insignificant: 1,300 since Christmas?
How many miles? As much as possible in our case. The more miles you drive; the more the cost of buying and maintaining the car makes sense domrusty said:
I have found it a bit nervous / fidgety on motorways but since that is the last place I’d choose to drive I’m not too bothered. Tyre pressures were within 1 psi of the recommended settings when I checked.
I believe that the Life110 geo settings may also improve that, from what I’ve read?
Correct!I believe that the Life110 geo settings may also improve that, from what I’ve read?
