Hi there
So I having test driven an A110 and A110S with very helpful Alpine dealers my thoughts in a nutshell was:
A110 - beautiful ride, mega comfy and a superb road car but not quite as tied down as I hoped, a little too much lean.
A110S - Everything I wanted, though a little too firm on certain roads, but the positives outweigh negatives.
As such I placed a deposit on this A110S Aero today after negotiating for several days, got a great deal in the end which I am very happy with.
Maybe the previous owner is on here, as its a one owner car, only 2300 miles with pretty much every option.

Might give that a go. My car has the performance exhaust but I think the first owner removed the sound resonator to make the cabin quieter. Sadly didn’t put it back on the car before selling. Have ordered the parts on Alpine, but will likely be waiting several years for them to turn up!
The wait could be interminable. It was over a month for a set of seat bolts.Nexus Icon said:

Last Sunday I was driving from Wandsworth through Battersea in my Tulipe Noir A110 and passed the other way an Abyss Blue car. My initial thought was Alpines are becoming too common now.
I was at Smith and Sniff Live on Wednesday and including mine there were 3 in the car park! Honestly might have been the single most common model there!AlexNJ89 said:
This 0% finance and discount on new cars is a real kick in the balls for residuals too.
It will not last long, it is old stock cars only isn’t it? Once the numbers coming to the UK reduce to possibly none from June this year due to EU safety regulations there is only one way the prices will go over time. Guaranteed future classic imoAre you sure the EU rules re GSR Regs include the UK? For example, is it 1,500 cars allowed per year In the EU, plus however many Alpine can sell in the UK as they wish OR is the UK included within the EU’s 1500 annual allowance for low volume manufactures?
A dealer I spoke to seemed to think UK sales wouldn’t count towards the EU’s maximum of 1500 cars, and that the UK would become a more important market for Alpine than it has been historically?
PS I’ve been a lurker on here for a while and picked up my new A110 S last month. What a car!

I'm inclined to think you are right and Alpine will focus on markets not subject to the 1500 car cap. The UK has signed up to the GSR regs, but it's not at all clear to me whether that just means they will limit the non-GSR cars produced in the UK to 1500 or whether that will apply to EU cars too (which would be a bummer for UK buyers - but great for existing owner's residuals).A dealer I spoke to seemed to think UK sales wouldn’t count towards the EU’s maximum of 1500 cars, and that the UK would become a more important market for Alpine than it has been historically?

I have the active sports exhaust and it also only crackles in Sport or Track mode.
In Normal mode the only exhaust sound I hear is a gurgle from the sound pipe behind the passenger seat (RHD). I do wonder how all of this sounds from outside the car?
My previous car had an Akrapovic Evolution exhaust system, it sounded incredible but being able to tone it down is most welcome. I also wonder why Akrapovic passed on the A110 when they usually make a system for every Renault Sport car, often even as a factory option.
I have wondered the same, was sure they’d make one but, seems not!In Normal mode the only exhaust sound I hear is a gurgle from the sound pipe behind the passenger seat (RHD). I do wonder how all of this sounds from outside the car?
