Funnily enough, despite not listening to any advice on running in, I've never once felt the need to use launch control on a road car

To be honest neither have I. Only aware it exists on the 110 because was reading a review and the journo used it to repeat the acceleration tests. Thought it would be funny to hint it was an appropriate running in strategy lol

26,000 miles in and I’ve not used launch control once.
Just haven’t felt the need!
If I found myself on a runway I might try it

Do not exceed 30mph for the first 10,000 miles. After that you can gradually increase the speed.

Colllect from dealer, warm everything up, take it easy until the first roundabout, then nail it.
30 years of experience there….
Flight was late into Germany and allocated hire car was a brand spanking new Renault Megane with just delivery kms on the clock. No time to waste on my 210 km journey as dinner was on the line. So extended the thing to 200 km/h cruise with plenty of pedal to the metal occasions.

Nicely loosened up when I arrived at my destination thumbup

I’ll have no problem keeping up to that, here in the South east/South London area. hehe

Getting as much 'running in' mileage done before Jan 10th when I get an oil change.

Martins of Winchester just quoted a super reasonable price for the oil change. It's a no brainer!
