Well, who knew this......
"A SERAC is a block or column of glacial ice, often formed by intersecting crevasses on a glacier. "
Was watching The Alpinist, about mountaineer Marc Andre Leclerc, on Sky Docs. Extraordinary.

There's also these which are being produced by respected French engineering company MP-Rezeau which are forged and very light, and are 8x18 ET35 / 9x18 ET46.
Can't seem to upload a photo, but they're on their website amongst other interesting stuff:

I think they'll look amazing, but that's strong money and I'd want to see a real set on some scales to be sure of those weight claims.

Thanks Alex.
Yes, they're not cheap but I bit the bullet and have ordered a set, so will post pics (hopefully without problems...) with pleasure.
I'll weigh them too, if I can!

Another aftermarket wheel option for A110 can be seen on this German YouTube video:

They seem to be Stadelpower Tuning branded wheels but I have no idea who actually makes them. Stadelbauer seems to be German Alpine dealer (?) which does Alpine tuning. I'm finding it difficult to get more information on their Alpine related stuff since googling doesn't seem to provide relevant results.

Wheels apparently are 18" front and 19" rear.

I purchased a 2022 “Legende” because the “Pure” didn’t offer the comfy seat option!

I wanted 17” wheels as I think the 18” don’t have enough rubber to cope with the pot holes on the lanes near me but the “Legende” didn’t offer that option and comfy seats took priority.

Many bust tyres later…I now hear that 2023 “Pure” finally has a comfy seat option - can anyone confirm that the 17” wheels would have significantly more rubber depth than the 18”?

But if you specify the 'comfort pack' on a base A110 (aka Pure) you have to also specify an 18" wheel...

As timbo999 replied, unfortunately, you still cannot get the combination you want.

When I started looking to buy an A110 I too wanted the comfort seats and 17" wheels and was frustrated that this was not possible. In the end I ordered 17" wheels with the standard seats. I have only had the car just over 2 weeks and the thing that stands out most is how comfy the standard seats are. I appreciate that they may not work for all body types and sizes but for me (5'9", slim build) they are perfect.

The 17" wheels have a 45 profile rather than the 40 profile of the 18" wheels. I have not driven them both back to back to say whether I could discern any difference so I will not pretend to feel that the 17" wheels offer a better primary or secondary ride than the 18" wheels. I can say that around town the 17" wheels provide a secondary ride similar to a typical family hatchback. Also, I have such confidence in the car with the 17" wheels that I am not making any effort to avoid anything but the most cavernous potholes.

I do think "comfort seat" is a bit of a misnomer. While clearly there will be those who need the extra adjustability of the "comfort" seat (or just prefer a leather cushion), for the those who fit the buckets they will probably be the more comfortable option by virtue of the noticeably softer seat base and better support. Unlike some cars where bucket seats hamper access, there is no such issue with the A110.

All that said I see no reason why you are forced to have 18" wheels with the comfort option. Or for that matter why you are forced to have the comfort seats (Legende GT) OR the stiffer suspension (110S) if you want the 300bhp engine.

Well I've finally received the MPR wheels and have had Michelin PS5 fitted (225/40 and 245/40).
Interestingly, Alex, I've weighed them (on some probably inaccurate bathroom scales, with the following approximate results:

MPR wheels bare without valves and tyres - Front 8" - 6.5 kilos / Rear 9" - 7.0 kilos;

Original Grand Prix wheels complete with valves and tyres - Front (205) - 19 kilos / Rear (235) - 21.5 kilos;
MPR wheels complete with valves and tyres - Front (225) - 16.5 kilos / Rear (245) - 18 kilos.

It's too early to tell how they perform, but we shall see...!

I’m now even happier that I’ve gone down to the 17” standard forged set.

Hi. Sorry, no, that's all I have. I wasn't aware there is another wheel option. You could try asking your dealer but I expect they’ll be similar weight to the other non Fuchs 18” wheels.

bronze light weight rims on a black/blue premier edition, smash or pass?

I have evo corse now and they are matt black. They fit perfectly the color scheme which is blacked out badges and a tint on the side indicators, the black interior and the black rear deck, but they also make the rims kind of disappear.

gunmetal ?
black, again, or
.. bronze ?

not the car nor the rims but …

Thank you!

That's incredibly light, about the same as a Litespeed, I wonder how they compare in price.

I'd go bronze but it has to be the right bronze - not too dark and not too gold.

The MK4 clio RS uses 5x114.3 so are they going to be an option.

https://www.jfcarparts.com/loja/jantes/jantes-jant...

These as example with 215 40 17 tyres would they work on Alpine with or without some spacers?
Any wheel experts out there?
