Prompted by the comments above, what is the age profile of those of us who have an A110 or have ordered an R.

I will start the ball rolling with 62 and I didn't end up going last night. I was in bed soon after 9:00pm smile
A couple of years behind you. I’ve a base A110 on order, due in April.

I actually chose the car as it seems practical enough on the face of it, and though I can’t glide in and out of it as I would have 30 years ago it’s a nice place to be and was comfortable in the buckets for the 30 minutes plus test drive.

All I need to do is point into the distance and say “Hey! Look over there!” if there are any folk in the vicinity as I enter / exit the thing!

I am 40 years old, my base A110 is the first car I have actually owned as my 'daily' is the Victoria Line. I have no need to own a car, the Alpine is the first car I really wanted, so I bought one.

64. Cripes we really are a bunch of oldies (Phillip excepted)!

I don't find getting in too tricky, but do find I need the door open all the way to get out with grace. This is not helped by the fact that the first detent when opening is too close and there isn't another until the door is wide open. However my 62 year young and spritely (and lovely) missus just clambers in and out just as she does with her Polo...

I’ll try and bring the average down a little at 57 smile Luckily I can still get in and out of my S with a little grace - not something I could do in my Elise!

Certainly wouldn’t sell many if they filmed the likes of me struggling to get out of the thing due to dodgy knees. smile
That is very much true but perhaps there is another way. The Alpine promo videos for earlier A110 model variants have been quite different than the A110R videos. Like for example these:

Don't think I count anymore as I pulled my deposit, but I'm 31. Probably going to spend the money on a 599 instead and keep the A110 I've got hehe

Any delivery updates chaps? I'm 37 btw...maybe I'm buying an old mans car tongue out (though In fairness I do enjoy going to bed early)

I'm told my car is expected to leave the factory at the end of April. Still no patterns available with XPEL for PPF so hopefully that filters through before collection.

Do you mean no patterns for the 'R'? There are XPEL patterns for the A110; just make sure they delete the cut-outs around the front bumper lettering...
Oh, and I'm 59.

At 72, I class my P.E. complete with the "Life" suspension mods and remap as a proper young man's toy😃 and reminds me of previous lotus cars, most notably my 2010 series 2 Elise R but with added comfort and build quality.
I came, most recently from Porsche, which I put firmly in; often overated, definitely overpriced, and most definitely in the "Old man's catagory"🤗.

Is yours the frozen blue? First to be built I was told. Mine is towards end of this year with nothing more specific afaik.

TX.

Edit - is yours a UK delivery?

Yes nothing for the R yet. I'm sure there will be patterns that can be reused but the bonnet is quite different and there's a lot of lower extended carbon that I'd like covered.

Hi TX. Yes UK delivery and my car is Black. I'd heard the same that all the frozen blue (and Alonso Eds) were built first, so I was surprised by the April build. Lets wait and see if it happens.

Odd that the first UK cars will be built April or June when we haven't even had any UK test drives yet! All the ones I have seen seem to be in Japan.

Congrats!

Interestingly I have just been back on the configurator and French Blue (my chosen colour) is no longer there!
