The NSX-R? The hood scoop gave it away. But I am a bit of an NSX fan.

Just ticked over 600m so another 150 until I can stretch its legs a bit. Told to stay under 3500rpm until then frown

Went to the Ferrari day at Silverstone yesterday; car still got some attention despite being dwarfed in purchase price terms!

As a few A110R's have now been delivered, can the new owners confirm if the car is delivered with any special commemorative plaque or gift? Have any special hard copy brochures been produced for the R?

The Alpine dealer network (certainly my dealer) appears to be a bit hit and miss compared to say Porsche and I suspect that any special memento that might come with the car could easily be adopted by the salesman before the customer knew about it.

Have you looked in the manual? Pretty sure it says for the first 1000km (620 miles) you should keep the revs under 3500. And then avoid "sporty driving" until 1800 miles.

I'm going through the same thing with my GT. I'm at around 270 miles, trying to drive moderately and not baby it too much. Half throttle and changing gear at 3500rpm already lets you make decent progress.

There is a numbered plaque in the same place that the Altelier colour plaque would normally be, it confirms build number. Mine is low 200's.

Slightly annoying is that there is no 2nd plaque if you have an Altelier colour cop

Hi there,

Not sure if you have a copy but the current Alpine brochure has a few pages on the A110R.

Download here but your dealer should be able to get you a physical copy.

Nice video on the R by the excellent Henry Catchpole, who is IMO always good value...

Quick video of the R on track at Brands Hatch GP yesterday. The GT3 in front had a bit more the straights but the R wasn't far off.

Its a great car on the track and lap times are very competitive

nice lap. even with traffic you are 1.42. in my e46 m3 csl on cup 2s, i've only managed 1.50 on the gp circuit so this is much faster.

how's the wear rate on brakes and tyres?

Wear was not not too bad. I upgraded the discs and front pads and they lasted well with little fade. Tyres also fine. I found I lost some grip after 15 mins prob due to over-heating. I think a sub 1.40 is certainly possible but it was a busy track day so I wasn't pushing too hard in places. I do race in the Alfa Champs in a 4c which helps.

Are many A110R's coming through? I am still waiting for mine but it has been gradually delayed from an August delivery and it has now crept back to late October or early November. Apparently it is built though which is encouraging.

Are many people on here still waiting for their R?

Are there any colours delivered yet other than Blue?

According to Alpine about half the SALES of A110s in the first 6 months of the year were Rs - so unless the production was a similarly high figure then there might well be significant delivery delays.

There's a very nice green one owned by a chap in Scotland, which I believe was delivered at least a month ago,
It and others are featured on a YouTube video made by 'Going Places 110'.
I hope you don't have to wait too much longer for yours!

Thank you Clive. I looked it up on You Tube.

Mine will be green too, but a lighter green (Ash Green).

Green one in Scotland. Mine is blue but not the matte blue.
