One final thanks again for this - properly inspirational.
Little note on temps - if you had telematics on during the return route, you'd likely find it runs hottest at normal/cruising speeds (between 100-110, presumably for efficiency), and even a fairly brief squirt of throttle throws open the cooling circuit and dumps a good 20deg from the coolant quite quickly.
