Good catch Philip, indeed I had forgotten these two. Although i think there is a difference: Dan P bought it himself with his own money, whilst I think Steve C is running it as a long termer, suspect a loan.

I watched all videos of Dan P about his car, he so adores it. I really value him as a journalist, no non-sense approach. I remember him saying about the paddle shifts and when he 1st drove the prototype he did not like the click. Engineers took his comment on board and changed the paddle shifting to suit.

Colin Goodwin? That i did not know.

Re franchracing: if I had his resources, I'd have a team of engineers working out how to get a manual gearbox into an A110, then get rid of the EPAS. Or perhaps I'd just make do with a GMA T33 instead.

Is there any photographic evidence of Moria Stewart with her A110? Not that I doubt the veracity of the information, more just that I would love to see it. I am very curious in her colour choice; I hope she has an atelier colour.

I was followed out of Glyn Hopk St Albans yest morning, by a vintage (rosso) Ferrari and my 1st guess was 250 GTO
Classic Ferraris are out of my stratosphere so I couldn't identify it for certain, I would say in the flesh it looked slightly narrower but as it's prob the 1st time ever I've seen one in the wild and not on display it's hard to say. The side profile in the mirror as I turned right certainly looked right with the Kamm tail.
My initial thought was Mr Hopkin will have done alright and can probably afford one, but reading the post above I wonder if it was Fanch - they're not exactly a common sight.
Or as a wildcard there is a Nissan franchise too, could it be a reproduction with Nissan I6 power, but unlikely you'd go to a main dealer w that, and it looked just right.

I’m aware of someone on here who has an A110 who is a car designer, who designed something exceptional and special that many on here have owned examples of. I won’t make them blush by naming them but their ownership of an A110 is further proof, I feel, of how great the A110 is!

I'm not François Perrodo's stalker (even though, for a short while, we were 'Bleu de France buddies' ) but he owns the prototype 3387GT, which is blue rather than the more common red.

The only thing I have to add is Gordon Murray has now also joined S club 110. My only claim to fame is I test drove his S make sure it was all ok before handover. I can confirm the S has sweet sweet steering, and no rattles.
