Just had a cup of tea this afternoon at the hut. The car park was full but there is a very large lay-by just in front on the A32, so that might be a possibility if you can’t get a ticket. Separate lane to the main road, so very safe parking.

I saw this on FB, it's Monday 8th April 5.00 to 10.00pm at all 3 Caffeine & Machine sites.
Described as "This C&M Yard Meet celebrates fast Renaults and their spinoffs, from Alpine to Renault sport and back again."
I've booked a ticket (free!) for The Bowl, Houghton Conquest, Beds and will plan a cross country drive from near Chelmsford, Essex if anyone would like to join for the drive and/or the meet?
No good for me but I hope it is something like A120 > A10 > A507 > B530 wink

A507 is excellent if you can get a decent run.

That's almost exactly the plan A1060 to Stortford, A120 to A10 to Buntingford then A507 to Baldock and onwards.
I know the Buntingford to Baldock stretch well, doubt I'll get a good run heading to C&M early evening but hopefully on the way back!
Just finished the first part of running in my A110GT so am now allowed to fully depress the accelerator and exceed 3500 revs and 80 mph, doubt I'll do the latter but definitely the first two.

Something’s come up at work tomorrow, so I’ve had to cancel my ticket - presumably should be available if not already allocated?

Also couldn’t make it in the end.
Would be cool to see some pics if anyone was there.

Just got back from The Bowl, expected the Alpines to be outnumbered by the Renaultsports but think we had more, maybe 15ish?
Never seen so many in one place!
Good to talk to Patrick Legende, Simon Premier Edition, Liam Legende GT, Graham A110S and Andy A110R.
A few pictures:

Love the colour on that second picture, if I'm not mistaken that's Alpine Blue Steel?

Apologies but I forget who I was speaking to at C&M about a classic Renault/Alpine specialist in Dunmow-
The name is John Law - JL Engineering.

There were a few of us who braved the rain at the ‘Hut’ Below a few of the pictures I took, I’m sure some other owners will some too.

There was one GTA/A610 at The Bowl but I failed to get a picture.

There was some discussion about whether you could just turn up or had to have a ticket, at The Bowl you could have just turned up, the car park was never full and a few were coming in regular cars and enjoying looking at the cars and having a drink. But what would happen if the car park was full I'm not sure.

Much as I love my/our modern A110s those Berlinettes are gorgeous.

Totally agree. The owner of the red one was kind enough to let me have a sit in it and I couldn’t believe how small it was. The smell and sound of it brought back fond memories of my old Escort Mexico smile

I do regret not ticking that option. It just seemed quite similar to Alpine Blue in the configurator, but it always looks gorgeous in photos. Haven't yet seen it in person.

Nice.

I hope to see them whenever another opportunity arises.
