That could be literally anything but I would hazard a guess and say it's from a washing m/c. Can you give us any clues or context?

Clearing garage out found it handing on the wall, thought maybe come off one of the various defenders we have had or MGZT or TVR .....could have placed it there upto 20 years ago..

Saw similar being gear box mounts or general protection plates. Angled so goes over either metal pipes or to protect something from being struck
