Post pictures of your Emira

So my (auto) was delivered on Wednesday by a very nice man (Jason). Having rather lost my enthusiasm due to the delays I started to get the tingle of anticipation a week out. Have driven it 300 yards from next street, where it was unloaded, to my driveway before dashing to London. Peak revs 2780 and 29 mph. nice steering on the one right turn. More seriously it's coming out to play this weekend. Colour a bit weird- it was sunny but the car looked really dark. Today it's raining and looked really good. Do wish it was 2 shades lighter as per all the imagery ie a dark green but very clearly green. I am thinking a yellow stripe will lift it !
Just got back from doing the NC500 and yesterday I was on the Ferry from Skye with the cars from Absolute Lotus magazine doing the Highland Tour.
I felt for the owner of this 23 plate Emira as his wife drove the car onto the Ferry and scraped the front spoiler/splitter along the edge of the inside of the Ferry.......
If the owner happens to be on here, I was the Silver Megane ahead of you.

All of a sudden I am seeing quite a few of these on the road and they do look stunning - moderns don't really interest me but I'm feeling considerable want for one of these and Mrs Loto also loves them so who knows!
They've managed to iron out most of the awkward details of the Evora - rear roofline still a bit high to my eye but I guess that's a function of the drivetrain.
Overall though a blood stunning looking car and looking particularly great in yellow.

Similar sentiment here. I recall, back in the '80s and '90s, if I saw a Ferrari it would make my heart race - she sheer shock of seeing something so low, wide and conspicuously inaccessible - but they seem to have become more bloated and fussy looking as time has passed. For me, replacing the Testarossa/512TR/F512M series with the 550 was when the bloat set in. I saw my first Emira on the road around a week ago and the visual impact excited me in a way that supercars haven't since then.Joey Deacon said:

Fortunately the PPF took the brunt so no paintwork damaged! FWIW the trip was fantastic and firmly recommended for any Lotus owners out there (we’ve done all three)
