There’s now 22 under 250k on AT. In fact there are 5no under 230k and one is main dealer!

Sign of the times. Will be watching the prices closely as I quite fancy one - that is if I can get my head around the interior which I really dislike. To my eyes the interior could be from a Far Eastern manufacturer - it’s garish, yet dull (which doesn’t seem possible) and I think very cheap looking - the leather looks poor quality in the photos. I have seen a couple in the flesh and from the outside I really like them - I feel there’s a real disconnect between the interior and exterior designs.

The GTB version for some reason doesn't do it for me.
However the GTS looks sensational with the roof off.

Unfortunately the price point is high, not sure many people with the deep pockets needed are able to get in and out of a car with such low roofline.

It's a potentially beautiful car that's likely to appeal to those liking the occasional pose over setting lap times. As such ease of use is important.

I can’t see these dropping under £200k - too much car from the No1 car brand, so anyone buying in at the £230k mark can’t go wrong. It’s simply the fact that too many have hit the market all at once. Things will settle down from here on

Funny thing the 296. It’s so impressive on all fronts. Really, really wanted to gel with it the twice I’ve had one for an extended weekend drive, but both times I was itching to get back in my 812. Performance wise it’s off the planet, but of the two owners I know, ones traded it back in for a F8 (which is what he originally traded in for the 296) and the other feels stuck with it as he’s down over £100k trade wise in what he paid for his factory order.

I agree, it looks like a combination of too many cars hitting the market and people not really falling for the hybrid drivetrain. Even at £200k though, I’d still think a £130k 488 would offer all the fun at at safer price point (depreciation wise).

All this… plus Ferrari make too many cars now, all this pressure from Shareholders 15 New Cars by 2022 & 15 New Cars by 2025 blah blah.. the good old days of Luca di M as CEO are long gone, F12/ F12 TDF & 458 Speciale were absolute pinnacle in hindsight, and all the Ferrari you will ever need and should aspire to have in the garage. Shame, but it was inevitable what would happen to Ferrari when he didn’t tow the line to go public and got the elbow.. I have had the new stuff but now buying the back catalogue. 296 GTB still looks like a larger Lotus Evora to me, but agree for what’s out there the prices quoted above are attractive..

I think it'll drop way below £200k and the glory days of ferrari are gone, an incredible back catalog to choose from that are fast enough on uk roads though!

hmmm cant see that tbh -not in the next year or so. Theres plenty of stuff under £200k to prop up the 296GTB such as the MC20 and 911TurboS,... Actually the MC20 seems to have stabilized and even crept up a bit. The 296GTB is on another level compared to the MC20 and thats before you throw in the 7 year free servicing and 4 year warranty.

296 will go sub 200k for sure, no doubt by end of the year.

Plenty of MC20 deals to be done in the 150k region and the 911 Turbo S is dropping very fast.

Overs market is over unless extremely rare and the simple fact is most of this crazy fast stuff is actually rather boring to enjoy on the road, simple facts are people are revisiting older stuff like Ferrari 458 and older. The reality is any road car that can do 60 in sub 5s is quick and more than enough and you can truly enjoy the power and feel the chassis working at legal speeds.

More drops to come on cars like 296, MC20, Artura for sure, hybrids have not gone down well and will be going down more before they level or maybe show signs of increasing and yes I know MC20 is not hybrid but a used bargain they are becoming.

Spot on TP321, the included servicing must account for £20k or so and - take into account - there are no “additional” costs to the service.
