Turbo S in black is nice. Can you get a Taycan with PTS?

Do any of the options make a difference to the GMFV in Porsche's calculator? I can't see it makes any and the future value remains the same regardless of the options chosen (looking at 4S)

April build slot confirmed for mid May delivery here.

4S in Volcano grey
Big battery
Red leather interior
Folding mirrors
Black window trim
Deletion of model designation
Sport chrono
21" Taycan exclusive design wheels
Panoramic roof
Driver memory package
Park assist
Heated steering wheel
Bose stereo

£99.7k - held back a bit on options, but not too bothered about anything I missed out.

Looking forward to it!

I think I would have rounded it up to £100k by adding the electric sports sound... just because smile

That's going to look beautiful.

I'd think about privacy glass and Sport Design side skirts to finish it off externally. You've gone for exclusive design wheels with high gloss inserts I assume?

I think I'd regret not having electric sports sound as the guy above says, just because!

However, I appreciate it's so easy to keep adding and adding until you've added a further £20k without noticing.

Interesting that nearly no one is speccing the accousticly insulated glass - mine hasn't got it either (the only thing I regret on my Turbo) but makes complete sense on an EV as you'd be hearing next to nothing with electric sport sound off.

Also I find that you don't really notice the glass roof on the inside on average days - the steel roof looks nicer from the outside imho as it has the GT style kink in it that the glass roof is lacking. All imho of course!

Ah yes! I did opt for privacy glass to keep BoBo Jr out of the sub. With the wheels I opted for the brushed platinum inserts which I think work better with the grey paint. I considered having the car in black, and even the green and would definitely have picked the gloss black then.

I would have gone for side skirts and the audio but I had to stop somewhere. Interesting point about the sound proof glass, one thing that surprised me on a test drive with 21” wheels was the roar from the road being louder than I thought - it would definitely be beneficial but again, I needed to stop somewhere, cost wise.

Here's mine FWIW. First new car... very exciting! Quite "cheap" without the big battery or wheels!

4S Volcano Grey Metallic
Black/Chalk Beige
Rear-Axle Steering including Power Steering Plus
Panoramic fixed glass roof
Privacy Glass
ParkAssist including Surround View
4+1 Seats
Comfort Seats in Front (8-Way, electric)
BOSE® Surround Sound System

Here's a pic of a car (not mine) in Volcano with the platinum painted wheels - inearly everyone paints these black - but I do think platinum works better with Volcano grey:

I spec'd Insulated glass with Burmeister makes a huge difference so glad i did spec it, after reading the Yank forums they were advising to option it, so i went for it!

How are people finding their Taycans. I’m looking at ordering the 4S imminently and would love to hear feedback on them, along with really world mileage.

We a have a 4S PB+ and find it brilliant. On a recent trip to take my dad to hospital which was a 132 mile trip there and back, when i started the car's PCM showed a range of 224 miles on 100% charge. After driving 132 miles on a mix of fast A and B roads, built up urban and motorways the car still showed 110 miles range left which translates to 242 in total. I figured out that the range the car always shows doesn't take into account extra miles achieved by regen braking which added a total of 18 miles on my 132 mile trip. This was a pleasant surprise which i expect to improve further as the weather gets warmer.
The interior build quality is extremely high with not a rattle or a squeak and far better than the 992CS i briefly owned.

I was pretty impressed with the Taycan when test drove and others seem pleased with them. Just a bit shocked that over a 100 are for sale in Uk?

Why shocked? Look how many 1 year old 911's and Cayenne etc are for sale. 100 looks quite normal. Besides I must know a half dozen people who haven't commuted into London for the best part of a year now, with many considering only doing so in future when absolutely necessary which would make a 100k EV on the drive seem a bit redundant.

Think they over-delivered to the UK because of fears of a no deal, but now have drastically cut allocations for this year.

I have specced the acoustic glass - taking advantage of the opportunity to hear music not road noise, although I have only specced the Bose - can't be faffed with burning lossless audio files which I think you would need to take advantage of Burmester, the convenience of Apple Music wins out for me. Also found the burmester to be a bit aggressive in the treble in a 992 loaner I had, but the tweeters may not have been burnt in.

Pared mine back to 106k - just can't resist most of the tech, but didn't bother much with the decorative items.

Agreed. A lot redundant. They just don't work at that money. Impractical too. The infrastructures just not there either. Who in their right mind buys second hand when the WDA is zero.

Had one as a loan car last week. The packaging for such a big car really is quite poor I think...boot space is tiny for such a big car. Infrastructure currently not fit for purpose if you need to charge it when you’re on the road unless you happen to be near an Ionity charger

Someone who can't run it through a company - i.e. employee on a high salary with no company car scheme, or a guy who's retired (sold his biz, has money).

My dad bought a second hand Tesla recently. WDA doesn't come into it for him as he's retired.

For me I love my Taycan Turbo and the WDA was useful.

Thoroughly Enjoying my Taycan Turbo Experience, I have fortunate to have an Andersen home charger 22kw so i use the car come back, stick it on charge and away i go again! You have to make the cars work for you, all it needs is a little planning ref the charger Ionity network, apply for the reduced rate when using the Ionity Chargers and away you go!

Fit and finish is 100 times better than my 992 TurboS, I opted for Burmeister and Acoustic glass as i was concerned regarding the road noise.... Glad i did as the ambience is sublime and a wonderful place to be! inn fact im ordering another once my GT3 arrives, however this time it'll be the 4S, there really is NO need for the Turbo cost and the power it brings! the 4S with Performance Battery is just right.

Tip.... When on a spirited drive make sure the regen braking is on, totally helps out and assists when hard braking, and you get more miles added doing it!
